I've read a lot of talk about next week being transformational, can anyone elaborate on that please.

I've been out of the loop this week , stuck 180 miles away in Yorkshire looking after my 87 year old dad who's second stage Alzheimer's. No signal at his house, no broadband not much at all really !!

I had thought we would have had significant news last week but it seems it's never ending.

With the greatest of respect Eloro, I don't think he's dyslexic at all, well no more than the rest of us who sometimes misspell a word.

I have had a look at your previous because of this and it looks like English is not your first language or you are just as "dyslexic" as the Quady.

I can't see why you would take such a dislike to me unless you were Quady, we seem to have the same political leanings and despite my liking for fossil fuelled transport I have been dismayed by the decimation of the flora and fauna on the planet in the last 50 years or so, some of it man made, some natural. I have lived in Queensland and seen the Barrier Reef with my own eyes many times. I have seen the grey lifeless coral but I have also seen the pristine coral too. What is happening on this planet is 90% natural and there is nothing we can do that will significantly change it. Extinction is part of the very fabric of this planet, it will always occur. Including us.

A Dyslexic would have misspelt SINK not used an abbreviation of a completely different word SYNC (synchronised).

Eloro, the reason the USA are putting tariffs on Chinese Ev's is because American EV producers can't compete on price in a dwindling market over there. Ford have shut down the F150 EV line because they aren't selling, the F150 is the biggest selling vehicle in the USA.

They did the same in the 70's and 80's for motorcycles over 899cc because Harley-Davidson was on it's knees trying to compete with the Japanese because their product was expensive and unreliable compared to Japanese offerings. It was set at 899cc because the smallest full size bike Harley made was the 900cc Sportster.

Our EV charging centre in Norwich will probably be closing soon because M&S, Costa and Greggs are closing thier stores on the site after 18 months because of low foot fall. I presume when you go to charge your EV at ridiculous prices you are advised to take a good book to pass the 40 minutes or so. You wouldn't need to do that for the 4 mins it takes to fill up with fossil fuel.
