Can you post a link to your quote of £3500 please quaudy, you don't mention the £7500 grant that has stipulations in order to claim it.

I helped a friend set up a heat pump sales company for six months about 2 years ago and I never saw any scenarios where a full system only came in at £3500 after the govt grant.

I have no recollection of you translating anything for me before, I've read what you have written and of course I agree with you. Why wouldnt I, it's common sense.

If read EXACTLY what I posted and not that pedant's interpretation of it you will see that's what I said however,

I said the similar but what isn't up for debate is whether it runs on solar or not because without water it wouldn't produce hydrogen and without solar it would need another power source, in short it would be going nowhere so it doesn't run on solar as that would be electrical power.

One step removed is exactly that, one doesn't work with out the other.

Anyway, thanks for the interaction with me but I'm not really interested in The Pedants spin doctoring and have no wish to make anymore unnecessary enemies on here because of him.

Well you just said airliners would run on solar, isn't that the same as saying cars would run on water ?

It's a similar statement if you don't explain the intermediate processes.

We had an electric plane at Norwich Airport last year, in between 3 hour charges it had 15 mins flight time, no more that two and the pilot and if it was windy it was basically a TAL exercise, no level flying.

Very practical.
