Thanks for sharing this quote with us, KTF, but it is just another example of a poorly constructed sentence from Parsons. "We are currently..." means that at any time the situation could change and timelines could be extended. "The process" has now lost the first word, which is "marketing". How is he now defining what "the process" is? It should be "year end" and not "end year."

Looks like we've all got some more waiting to do, but at least with the weeks ticking-by, Parsons has less and less time to drag-out this tiresome process, which I still believe will result in us having to "go long" and continue with some more exploration drilling in 2020.

Trellis - nothing I have said about NUOG is untoward. I have read your messages on the NUOG board though and suggest you spend your time drinking Montrachet instead.

I was thinking the same as you, Partridge. NUOG could turn into Sound 4 and they could acquire Sidi eventually as part of their portfolio of assets. JP could go over there as CFO once he has finished at SOU. Who knows?

You can't put a price on a spam fritter, or indeed a case of wine. To us they are priceless and certainly worth more than millions of NUOG shares.

Could GekkoJr actually be Shaungreen reincarnate? A gecko can grow back its limbs, so maybe Shaungreen, after feeling cut-off, has grown a pair and come back to life after having achieved a GCSE in Maths (don't be jealous, Gasboy!)

We need Mooncheese back with his £65 per share by Christmas prediction. Oh how I recall those halcyon days of old when one used to get a barrage of abuse for even having the cheek of predicting a meagre £1 per share come LE.

If Parsons does deliver, he will probably get a load of people investing in C4. That's the irony of the situation. He'll always have his disciples that will follow him wherever he goes. If he can deliver us circa £1 per share come the LE, even N4aPound will invest! Perhaps not though. Hehe!

Yeah things are beginning to happen over at C4. I hope it signifies an imminent conclusion to SOU. C4 is still a private company, but I suspect at some point next year or into 2021, it will seek a listing on AIM.

The only thing that worried me about Parsons's reply to N4 was that typo. 'Wuestions' instead of 'questions'. Parsons must have replied in haste or he was too busy munching on his bacon sarnie (without sauce)?

I bet he drives a Vauxhall Insignia and has a nifty pair of pocket binoculars.

N4 is Chuckle Energy's Press Officer / Communications Officer. I'll have to instruct him not to cut out two circles on his daily newspaper for spying holes. And before somebody says it, no they aren't glory holes.

Do you live near Sevenoaks? Have you been to their offices? How do you know so much about their individual whereabouts?

Parsons better not make a run for the back door until the job has been done at SOU. That was his promise and he should stick by it. He needs to be fully focussed on securing us our LE rather than looking over his shoulder at life after SOU. It's very distasteful when we PI's have to read about his other ventures as we are left hanging out to dry.

There's that word "expect" again in Parsons's email reply to N4aquid.
Either the marketing process is going to conclude by end of this year or it isn't. Just tell us how it is!
This can't be dragged out for much longer than it already has, whilst he feathers his nest elsewhere with C4E. I also noticed that Andrew Denning and Jay B are shareholders of C4. Nobody should invest in C4 as a punishment for putting us through this painful process at SOU.

I'm glad your Montrachet was delivered on time and in plentiful supply. The diet continues in the Chuckle household today. Peas, chickpeas, tomatoes and tuna for brunch today after 17 hours of no food. It's like a slap in the 'nads! Mind you, I've dropped 4lbs in 1 week, which is not a bad start. I'm off for the wine for now, but hope to binge drink at the forthcoming 'Trellis Liquid Event Party'. I'll try and be polite to Wannabe 5 just in case she becomes over zealous with her scissors. We haven't got long to make plans for your party if you are heading to Spain in January 2020. Let's hope Parsons pulls a rabbit out of the hat and delivers us a deal. I am hoping to get some news this week, as it's been over 4 months since the "marketing process" commenced. This radio silence is terribly boring and tiresome. It's like sucking on lemons.

A credible bid IMHO is around the £1 per share level.

I've voted Conservative all of my life, but I have no time whatsoever for BoJo The Clown. He really ought to resign or failing that, be shown the door. There needs to be a vote of no confidence and he needs to be removed. He can't be trusted and he has emotional issues IMHO. I voted 'Remain' back in 2016 and would probably vote 'Remain' again in all honesty.

I'm very confident there will be bids submitted. My confidence wanes somewhat when it comes to whether or not any of the bids are deemed to be credible in the eyes of JP and the rest of the Board. The current share price won't have much to do with the bid offers as they need to be based on NAV. Also, any company placing a bid won't want to embarrass themselves and Parsons with a low ball offer. At the end of the day, they would need to conduct their own in house analysis and arrive at a price that they believe is fair and would give them enough room / scope to make some profit going forward. The caveat is that a low ball offer would be in the most part, a waste of time because it is likely to be bettered by another company or companies. If a company really sees value in our asset(s) and want to own them then they need to put in a serious bid. I am still sticking with £1 per share or thereabouts, but only should we receive a credible bid. You know what I think if we have to carry-on drilling. I won't go there for now! Let's try and keep the conversation upbeat today for a change :)
