RE: It could be worse..26 Nov 2018 12:35
Brian is still "The King of Dusters" until he finds us a decent well. SOU have had 3 dusters in a row and there is no more appetite for any more dust. It's getting in my throat, my eyes and my ears. I'm still baffled as to why they are forging ahead with Te-10 in the knowledge that it is highly likely to fail. In fact, BM has downgraded the chance of success to 25% from 30%, so that alone doesn't fill my boots with any pleasure......just more dust.
Unitl the drill bit does the talking, we just don't know what will happen and nor do the SOU BOD due to the porosity. It's only when the drill bit is in the ground will we discover what the porosity issues are if any. What I'd like to know is what measures are / will be put in place to mobilise the rig ASAP to its Te-11 location and where will Te-11 be drilled and what will it hope to achieve / discover / prove-up. I don't think the BOD fully know the answers to these questions yet, which is a bit of a concern.
Too much effort has been placed on being successful but not enough time has been set aside for what if we fail. Nobody on this bb fully understands or knows what a Plan B is or looks like and what additional money and time that will incur. Perhaps hard questions should have been directed earlier on towards JP about what our contingency plan is and what steps would be in place should we encounter a duster. It seems many have and are still blinded by JP's hype and certainly greed has had a major part to play with people's investment decisions.
I spent the weekend sifting through the various videos of JP and BM in action e.g. at The Gherkin and the Deep Dive and based on what we now know and the unfortunate results we have had, the messages come across as pure, unfiltered hype. It made for embarrassing viewing if I'm being totally honest.
Investors like PNE79 are still throwing good money at this share at a time when it is clearly down trending. Until the Te-10 results come in, I would exercise serious caution because it's highly plausible to estimate that should 10 fail, the share price will fall to a single digit price, if not before the results actually come in. 9p-11p still looks feasible if you want my opinion. despite the Te-5 Horst alone being worth a lot more than this. Poor sentiment combined with poor results will be the cause of this.
If BM is the "King of Dusters" is JP the "King of Divorces"? I'm certain that many relationships will fail should we continue on our current trajectory. Maybe JP should look at hiring a Marriage Guidance Manager to nurse PI's through what I believe will be a very turbulent next 3-4 months.
