If I were you, rather than rant on about gypsy taverns, I'd go and consult deed pole. With a pseudonym like yours, it sums-up what is spouted from your mush. People should listen to my views, they should listen to differing views on this bb because at the end of the day, a more balanced bb is a healthier place to be, coupled with the fact that I have been fairly spot-on with some of my predictions as of late - even down to share price predictions.

If we continue on our current trajectory, my only fear is that Trellis will run out of booze and be faced with a very unfortunate journey down to Lidl to check-out their Christmas wine bargains. I have kept aside a bottle of Bollinger if we ever find gas and I hope that one day I'll get to swig from it.

No, I never suggest there is some devious conspiracy going on. Conspiracy is a very strong word. The point I made was that should we be forced to continue having experienced 3 dusters at 9,10 and 11 then it wouldn't be the end of the world for the BOD as they would pay themselves a fat wage whilst we PI's would be made to wait longer to realise any return on our investments if at all. That's why I think the circa 30 million is now being very closely guarded should we be forced to head towards a Plan B and still be poking our rusty drill bit in the ground this time next year.

BM won't go nor will he resign because JP needs him by his side given his technical knowledge. The BOD find themselves in the same boat i.e. caught between a rock and a hard place.....literally! In all reality, somebody at Sevenoaks should have taken the wrap for what has now been three dusters in a row but still nobody has been held to account and nor has there been an open and honest apology for the clear failure. I find that incredibly arrogant and disrespectful to PI's yet some of you still defend them. The difference is that they are getting wealthier and you are getting poorer......me included! BM is and will be The King Of Dusters until he finds us a successful well. To apportion the blame for Badile and Te-8 on to somebody else isn't at all fair or accurate when I was there at The Gherkin watching him, almost in tears, say something along the lines of Badile was better than anything he had seen before and was a rare and perfect anticline or some technical jargon along those lines. The point is, he got to see and analyse the 3D seismic at Badile before the drill bit entered the ground. Go and have a listen to the video again taken from The Gherkin if you have any doubts and have a careful listen to what he said. He better be hoping he can deliver a decent result come 10 and 11 or else his time at SOU would have been a waste of time IMO.

The circa 30 million we are purported to still have left in the bank (more like 23-24 million now) is purposely being stored away just in case the BOD decides to string things out for another year i.e. to go after Sidi. That's why in today's RNS that third party company were paid in shares and not straight out of our coffers and at a price higher than today's share price in a pathetic attempt at trying to get the share price moving northwards. The BOD have nothing to lose by stringing things out for yet another tax year because as I have just commented, they get to pay themselves another year's salary coupled with the fact that their reputations will be restored until such point there is no option left on the table. The main protagonists on this board will always, always run to their rescue and there is nothing they can do that will make them speak ill of the BOD despite in some cases being tens of thousands of pounds or in some cases, several hundred thousand pounds down in terms of paper loss. It seems that many of you on here are STILL blinded by JP's hype and will not allow yourselves to remove the blinkers from your eyes. I will reiterate to some of you again, what lies in the ground does not equate JP's hype. In fact, given the recent results what has emerged is the complete and utter opposite of what is being spouted from JP's mouth. Failure after failure after failure is all we are witnessing and it's time that some of you start saying it how you see it, which is what I am attempting to do but every time I try and make a point, I get cussed down. The only people who have written decent comments over the past day-or-so IMO are the likes of WWW and FellRunner and good ole Trellis and his ever depleting wine cellar. There still appears to be a hardcore bunch of deluded individuals on this bb who need to take a reality check. End of rant.

Of course....I forgot to add that the BOD would probably be more than happy if it comes down to it to drag things along a little longer because they get to pay themselves another huge, fat wage for what will be another year of using PI's money to increase their personal wealth.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if a year from now, after having experienced 3 dusters i.e. 9, 10 and 11 that we are having a mad stab at Sidi in an attempt to salvage what we have left. The irony is that we'd even make a complete and utter hash of Sidi if recent results are to go by. I think we've already had a mad poke around over at Sidi anyway and the results were very quickly brushed under the mat in the hope that we didn't take much notice. I seem to recall our test well was a complete an utter disaster. There's no guarantee that we will find a farm-in partner for Sidi either and the asset could in fact hang around our necks like a noose because no other company wants to get into bed with us as it may damage their reputation or upset their shareholders.

I agree with what somebody said earlier today on this bb and which I mentioned a couple of days ago. That is to say we should have deployed a second rig in-country a long while back and we should IMO be drilling SM in conjunction with Tendrara. Not only does it double our chances at finding a successful well, but it also keeps the news flow alive and we all know that positive news flow creates positive sentiment. Of course the opposite is true, but I will never accept any argument from anybody that doesn't think we should have deployed a second rig and that we....yes we alone should be going after the 11 TCF. Even Malcy was a keen advocate of a second rig and the idea had been bandied around several times and most prominently at one of the recent Moroccan trips Q & A sessions.

Was the decision for not having a second rig due to money or was it because that following the test well (we only drilled one test well when we were scheduled to test two but backed out of the second) the BOD decided that the risk was too great to continue there and that they could use Sidi as a deal sweetener when it came to the LE? Only JP et al will know the answer to that and we may never learn the truth.

What I am trying to say is, don't think for one minute that Sidi is going to be our saviour should the next two drills fail. Sidi is fraught with risks and there is no guarantee that we will make a success of it should we be forced to head west and poke our rusty drill bit into the ground over there as part of our fabled Plan B.

The BOD better be hoping that we have at least one successful drill at 10 and or 11 because I would not like to be stuck here a year from now wondering if we're going to find gas in Sidi.

I still have shares in MOS. I think I'm 90%+ down when I last checked and that the value of my holding is less than a bag of chips. Their RNS this morning wasn't worthy of a RNS as Tom Winnifrith pointed out in one of his articles today and I agree, it smacks of a company that is totally desperate.

We are purported to have an estimated 6-7 million users, which most people on here don't really care much for because for such a long time we were led to believe the number was more akin to 20 million.

I for one would quite like to see Atlas being screwed over. They were one of the reasons why the share price has been going through the wash these past several weeks. Sort of serves them right that they now find themselves sharing the boat with we PI's.

We've all been had. Just another AIM horror story in which the past BOD have become rich / richer on PI's hard earned money and get away with it and we PI's are left to rot in hell.

Back to my frozen park bench where I see a few SOU investors have began to loiter around and so too FRR investors cussing and swearing at each other.

I think I'm going to join Sliotar and be reincarnated as a lemming so I can take one small step for a Fez.........one giant leap for Fez kind....off the nearest cliff I can find.

Yeah I'm sure Eric has a few rogue million hidden under his mattress that he can donate. I hope he gets what is coming to him. As I said the other day, some of those inmates in those Asian prisons can get awfully randy in that hot weather.

Your posts continue to amuse me and make me laugh. If the latest news is anything to go by, you'll very soon be drinking oil in an attempt to entertain the troops on here with a gusher.

The other explanation for the current share price movements is that the share is being shorted. That coupled with the current poor sentiment. They go very much hand in hand. For example, Tom Winnifrith and buddies have been known to short shares before and he doesn't report too fondly about SOU and never has.

With this current share price movement, I'm beginning to wonder if the price is being dragged down to fill very large buy orders at a much lower price e.g. 9p-11p to allow an entity or entities to acquire vast swathes of shares in order to increase their holding / share of the company. What I am attempting to allude to is a potential hostile takeover scenario despite what JP recently stating, which was something along the lines of, "I think a hostile takeover would be difficult or unlikely due to the cornerstone investor...." Notice however, that he has never carte blanche said that a hostile takeover could not happen or never take place at all. What do people think? Are we looking at the start of what could be a hostile takeover attempt, given the current share price direction?

A lot of people have placed their trust in Chong and Austin. Let's just hope and pray they don't let us down. They will both become our heroes should they manage to steer us through this quagmire.

Hence my message earlier today regarding heart versus head.

Nerve jangling times for us as we wait. Just hope Chong and Bionic are working their magic and we all get an early Christmas pressie.

This is what my cynical head says: that Chong and Bionic are doing all they can to recover the missing monies so that they can pay themselves off with a very nice golden goodbye handshake, pay the remaining redundancy pay-outs to the staff still in place and do bugger all to attempt to keep the company going.

This is what my hopeful heart says: that they will continue in operation under a new CEO come January either on their own or as part of a JV and start to drive the company forward bit by bit and get it back to the sort of company we all hoped it would be. Perhaps better still, sell the company to the highest bidder and we get a one-off payment per share that we own paid direct into our account.

So what's it going to be if you're being perfectly honest with yourself? Is it going to be Jez's hopeful heart that wins the day or is it going to be his head and wonky fez that haunts us? The way that things have been going on in AIM for me in recent months, it's looking like my head will haunt us. Nothing else seems to have gone right for me this year so this will just be yet another miserable failure I have to live with.

The ironic thing is that if Te-9 was a roaring success, nobody would have been aware of the accuracy issues of the seismic that have since come to light. Basically, the BOD would have winged it and would have got away with it without any of us knowing!

Should Te-10 be a failure, then theoretically speaking, we should have enough time and focus to give ourselves every chance that Te-11 will be a success. There's still two drills left and we just need at least one of these to come good coupled with the GSA sorted, in order to move towards a LE. Should there be 3 dry wells then we have a Plan B, which will clearly mean more time and more money needed to execute them and I believe it would involve going after Sidi. The way I see it is either the company will be sold should we have positive results, or the assets get sold off separately to the highest bidder, which would be a tad messy to say the least. I would much rather see the company being sold in one fell swoop, but it might not be as simple as that at the end of the day.

Not sure why Crudehope is being attacked on here?? From what I can tell and after having watched his videos at the recent Morocco trip, he comes across as a thoroughly decent person with a very positive can-do attitude. Something a lot of us can learn from including me.

No point in bickering with each other now. We're committed to Te-10 and Te-11 and we're just going to have to sit through it and hope for the best.

Not worth insinuating physical violence on a person despite what he has allegedly done. Let the courts decide his fate, starting from next month when he is in front of a judge about something unrelated to MYSQ. You also have to remember that he has to live with himself in the knowledge of what he may or may not have done. Only God can and will judge him and not us. His biggest enemy is actually himself. He will be consumed by his own guilt, fear and conscience. Let's see what Chong and Bionic manage to uncover and let's direct our insults based on facts. I could easily make references to picking up bars of soap, but I have decided to refrain from these rather graphic images because until I see all of the facts presented to me, I can only but speculate.

It's getting nearer the time when we should learn our fate. I just hope and pray that we won't go into administration and that we somehow continue - whether that be by ourselves, or as part of a JV or even a sale of the company altogether.

Having read and fully digested all of the comments since popping off my swim earlier today, I must say I have stomach ache. It didn't make for particularly easy reading and some views which have been bandied around regarding The King Of Dusters aka Brian Mitchener only go to confirm what I think of him. Grumpy, non apologetic, pedantic and useless - not necessarily in that order. Not one member of the SOU board hinted on any apology. The word "sorry" was not mentioned once. This now looks like a complete and utter gamble with seismic that is as useful as somebody throwing a dart at a map and hoping that where the point lands is where they will find gas. I have honestly seen more gas come out of Simonthezealot's backside these past few days than there is gas coming from SOU. Blame that on the fibrous food I cook for him perhaps....but it's not far from the truth. I don't think the spam fritters help much either.

Perhaps some of you may concur with comments I made regarding BM a little better now that you have heard the rubbish that has been spouted from him today. The bloke hasn't got a clue and we're apparently all dumb because how can we mere mortals possibly understand the science behind all of this?! My gut tells me that Te-10 will be a success but my brain is now telling me otherwise given the comments from the King Of Dusters. A grumpy King too.

Well like you I am hashtag anchored and there's little I can do apart from sit it out and hope that if/when we ever get to a LE then I may recoup my money back. On the subject of a LE - I bet even this will be fraught with issues and won't be as clear cut as some on here would like to think. Now we seem to have graduate to "selling off the portfolio as oppose to selling the company". I didn't want to hear that from JP today. It sounds like they will sell the good bits off and the bad bits to no one cos it won't be worth diddly squat. It also sounds as though they may entertain continuing the company i.e. Sound Morocco and base the company around the Te-5 Horst development. Could the LE be tied-in with free shares in this continuing vehicle? Possibly. I don't want any free shares in the continuing company if it comes down to that scenario. I just want the company sold and a price per share back as a one-off payment into my ISA. Simples.....but will it ever turn out to be simple? I doubt it.

Good luck one and all. I think we're going to need it in droves. I suspect the share price will dwindle down to the 9p-11p level over the next several weeks as people get sick and tired of SOU and its hype. This is fast turning out to be one of the biggest cons on AIM and the BOD with it.

No agenda. Just sick and tired of AIM at the moment and being let down time and time again by CEO's who promise the earth and deliver nothing. That's all I have to say about things at the moment. We have all been rather misled up until now. Let's hope lessons have been learnt and we at least have a really good go at the next drills. Off for my swim now anyway. Cheers.
