Holding a FSC and following it up with a 90 minute CC could mean that we have found a buyer IMO. Don't let yourselves be blinded at this stage in time. I suspect that JP has had to bite the bullet and head for a sale quicker than he at first would have estimated / liked to, but that is the nature of being at the helm of an exploration company. Perhaps he is all too aware that another duster at Te-10 could have such a detrimental effect on the company's share price and perceived value that it was just too risky to continue on our current trajectory. What I am suggesting is that Te-10 will still go ahead but by the time the results are released SOU will be under new ownership. Te-11 may never happen and instead all of the seismic data will be handed over to the new entity in order for it to be properly analysed in the timescale it deserves. Sidi will also be packaged in as part of the overall deal. The money we have left in our coffers will go towards paying off our current debts.

No, I don't foresee JP stepping down from his position at SOU. The only side step I predict is should a buyer come in and make us a sensible offer at which point JP will do what he needs to until the reins are handed over to the new entity and that PI's are satisfied with the end result via the fabled LE.
Every good Captain goes down with their ship and is the last person to stay on the ship unless Trellis is on board as he'd probably be scurrying around doing his best at saving the best bottles of booze. I'm not suggesting that the good ship Sound is sinking. Rather, I am suggesting that JP intends to be present in his present capacity of CEO until the end.....whatever our end turns out to be.

You're probably right but right now your guess is as good as the next man's or woman's. Expect the unexpected and we all probably won't be too far from the truth of what's really going on behind closed doors at Sevenoaks.

I disagree, Graham. I'd probably still be dabbling in shares even if the interest rates were higher. You have to admit, given the RNS's that were reported and the various videos that were being published, the picture that was being painted had nothing related to the suspected money laundering that was taking place in the background. It's not as if the videos were made in a back street shack. They were videos on e.g. Proactive TV, which I consider to be a decent and honest company. How many times were we looked at and told that there would be "tremendous potential" in terms of shareholder value and share price growth potential. Hindsight is the most wonderful thing on AIM but we were investing our hard earned money based on what we were being told and not what we weren't being told, which has since come to light.

If JP has found a buyer, then it wouldn't necessarily be SOU who have to bear the burden of Te-10 and any other well that is drilled. The reins could well be handed over to another entity. You also have to take into consideration our current bank balance, which is almost in-line with our debt of circa 28 million. JP will also be very aware and conscious that PI's don't want to suffer over the Christmas period and New Year and may....just may have some news to cheer everybody up. Share placed into suspension over the Christmas and New Year period with a subsequent RNS to come probably some time in mid to late January confirming the "deal" and offer price for we PI's to vote on. This scenario doesn't sound all that far fetched given the state of the share price, unless anybody out there disagrees with me?

Chuckle Gas Plc (CKLE) the downstream, downmarket onshore Cypriot hydrocarbon exploration company are delighted to announce that the first of their three well programme CH-1 has discovered commercial rates of hydrocarbons present in STZ's underpants. An extended junk food and alcohol consumption exercise will now commence to ascertain the requirement for bowel control.

Gas shows were steady and consistent throughout the week and required little stimulation other than the odd Greek meze here and there as well as brandy sour and Keo Beer. This was consistent with the analysis and data that was gathered prior to the commencement of CH-1.

My reckoning is that JP has already found a buyer and that the 3 drills are part of the overall plan to get us sold. I believe that the would-be buyer has agreed with us that we do 3 drills to see if we can discover gas and or oil in the three separate locations and to come back to the negotiating table once the three drills have been completed. JP may have even negotiated a sale price based on how many BCF / TCF's that are found - perhaps on a sliding scale and the greater the gas find then the higher the sale price up to a level at which the buyer and we are comfortable with. Nobody is going to pay more than they want to and we won't sell at a price which we think is too cheap. It may even transpire that should all 3 exploration wells turn out to be dusters then a price for that scenario has already been agreed in principle. I don't think we'd go blind into 3 drills when we didn't have some reassurances at their conclusion - good or bad. JP is way too smart to enter into a wildcat drilling scenario.

My prediction of the share price trading in the 9p-11p zone looks like it is coming true. Poor sentiment at the moment is killing the share price given that 67% of the shares are owned by retail. It makes for a potentially very volatile share price when things either go well or not so well. I am also wondering if the share is being shorted and I am also aware that somebody has put in a buy order for 1 million shares at 9p. Is the share price being dragged down to pick-up this large order? Maybe. That said, I still see a positive conclusion to all of this because value has already been unlocked and we have Sidi too. I still believe the LE will deliver at least 1 pound per share and hence my post entitled 'As Sound as a Pound LE Party'. It will be interesting to look back at all of this next Summer and wonder why and how we went from these lows to what I hope will be an all time high in terms of the share price. GLA.

The pair of them have had a colourful past with their former companies. This time around, I hope that he / they have been caught with their hands in the till. There is some hope for us yet so let's all keep posting on this bb and let's keep an eye on the MYSQ web site for up to date news. If anybody here's anything of any use then please post it on here. I lost several grand in this despite my concerns about Eric. However, when you are told that things are moving in the right direction then that's what you base your investing decisions on. I don't expect to be lied to and I am still feeling angered and cheated.

Thanks for your support, SeedofGod. Yes, I didn't change my tune about Eric despite me investing here. I assumed there were too many decent people surrounding him to prevent him from doing what we believe he has done, although he is yet to be questioned so we need to tread cautiously. With Austin, Chong and Pottinger working with him, I thought he'd be playing nicely, but people are also pointing fingers at Pottinger. Again, without the evidence and the hard facts, it's difficult to know who was involved. I just hope that Chong and Austin do what they need to in order to go after the would-be perpetrators.
People may realise now why I choose to post my thoughts good or bad and even when I am heavily invested in a share as I am/was with MYSQ. If I smell a rat then I will tell it how I see it. I realise that some of my comments weren't to everybody's taste, but I hope you can now appreciate my straight talking, no nonsense approach. People mistook this for me shorting the share (I have never shorted any share and wouldn't know what to do anyway as I haven't learnt how to short and don't intend to). I'm just glad some of my assumptions turned out correct regarding Eric and the missing money.

I don't think the CC next week will throw-up any surprises. Rather, I see it as another opportunity for JP to communicate with us in an open and candid fashion, rather than say or do nothing at all. The irony is that if he wasn't holding a CC, people would be asking where he is and why he is being so quiet and why isn't he coming out to answer our questions etc etc. I am not expecting the GSA to come until early 2019 and with regards to Te-11 location, I suspect they are still analysing data and deciding as to where to drill. They may want to see how Te-10 fairs first before deciding on a location for 11 because 10 will give us some more information about the reservoir that could aid us and increase our knowledge about Tendrara. I still consider Tendrara to be patchy at best, which is something I said a couple of years ago. There are good bits and not so good bits and given its size it's no doubt challenging to locate the sweet spots with seismic data that can't predict porosity and the tightness of the sands.

Glad I have caused some amusement on this bb after having to read through a load of diatribe from the likes of Fellrunner and Orangutan fighting it out amongst themselves. Come on guys, play nicely. There's no point squabbling with each other. Life's too short. People will always have their own opinion so you can't please all of the people all of the time or even most of the time on here. No point in being nasty to each other as we are all in the same boat at the end of the day.

He can run but he cannot hide. When MYSQ gets enough money together than I suspect they will go after him and anybody else who is implicated in this fraud. I don't mind losing money if the whole situation is fair but we were robbed and told lies and it was on these lies that we decided to put thousands of pounds of our money on. For example, look at the last video that Chong and Pottinger did, which was subsequently pulled. We were told that there would be a new CEO in place by January 1st, we were told that the deal with Tencent was good for us (by he way, whatever happened to the WeChat deal with Tencent??) and we were told that Eric's departure "went very smoothly or as smoothly as it could have possibly been". Yeah right!!!! I bet it went smoothly as the bloke was paid 1 year's salary and so far is purported to be galivanting around Dubai stretched out on sunbeds, probably reading our posts on this bb and deriving enjoyment listening to us all squirming. I had his ticket months and months ago and I'm just feeling a bit of a plonker that I piled my money into this after a number of months deramping this based on my lack of trust for Eric. I am glad I was right about him as it turns out and I'm glad now that I aired my views on here about my concerns about him. Hopefully somebody would have benefitted from this, alas not me and many others on here who saw some potential left despite Eric still being at the helm.

I'll tell you where there have been "significant gas shows" and that's Simonthezealot's underpants. Jesus Jones, I've spent the best part of a week listening to various "noises" emitting from various parts of his anatomy and that's even without any seismic or ground truthing work. It's amazing what a plate of butter beans at breakfast can achieve in the absence of tight sands. I can report the porosity is the best that it gets......cough.

I have to say I have gone through a myriad of emotions thee past few days. Today all I feel is anger. We were lied to, cheated out of our money and dreams and I want my money back. I feel robbed and can't believe that the regulatory authorities weren't all over MYSQ while we being cheated and told lies. I want to see Eric behind bars for what we all suspect he has done. TW was right and hence why I recall telling you all that I was a fan of him and still am. I like his no nonsense approach and especially when it comes to exposing potentially fraudulent companies.

I also expect Chong to carry on fighting for we PI's and doing all he can to ensure we have a chance at maybe getting our money back. Chong was involved with this company long enough to know that something was awry. Why did things get to the stage whereby there was no money left? It's an absolute joke.

May I personally thank you for being my co-pilot in our pretend rocket ride to the moon and back. How many times did I ask you to light the blue touch paper???!!! They have taken our money but they can never take away our sense of humour. We are not completely dead and there is a glimmer of hope for us. Let's please keep an eye on the web site for news and we may salvage something. Something is better than nothing I guess.
We'll all fight another day but for a certain somebody who caused all this mess, I hope he gets what's coming to him.
