All seems good to help the balance sheet and we will be able to restructure the expensive debt in due course.

Hoping this is the catalyst to look to retain a higher proportion of Kenya and get more favourable terms on any farm down there to a strategic partner.

All in all a great deal we will see major benefits in the next 3 years.

I do find JMAX a very confusing person.

I will take 12 months for Iran to get up to speed by which time we will have reduced debt heavily and SP will be £1plus.

There will not be a flood of oil on the market so all good here.

I wouldn’t say achieving 78 dollars on the collar is strangling the company, on the contrary it makes perfect sense and was probably a condition of the restructuring of debt that ultimately kept us afloat. We are making good money and another 12 months of this high oil price will reduce debt massively, then restructure again on to better terms and hedge against the high oil price at that time.

We have had to learn to walk again but in 12 months time we will be back up and running.

Been a long and bumpy ride I am at last back in profit. Even when she went up to 65p I was still underwater but I have been a regular buyer in the low 40’s.

Well done to all LTH’s who have held and I won’t be selling s as my time soon. Not a major contributor to the board but I do read every comment and thoroughly enjoy the banter.

Although we have hedged a lot of oil our future hedging programme will be set up such that we will benefit from this higher oil price at some point in the future.

If the OP remains high for 2 years then drops we benefit from hedging massively at that point.

Lock em in a draw for 5 years and the price will of at least doubled. Chill out we are in good hands and all the signs are good.

My opinion of the two:

Jubileey has a lot of knowledge, bit immature but I value the content of his posts.

Slift is not to be trusted, posts to his own agenda and again is very immature.

Best poster on the board is Seeking Alpha, very knowledgeable and usually on the money.

Without the sale we could be bust, beggars can’t be choosers.

We are here now alive and kicking.

In a normal world you have a point but this is not normal. With an increase in production, rising oil price, good hedging, weakening dollar think we are well placed for a decent re rate.

Held TLW for 7 years been through RI and some crazy falls. I have never lost faith because we have great assets and exploration licences.

Anyway, on a personal note I am back in profit, with an overall average of 55p. I fully expect this to be double the current price by year end.

In the darker days I couldn’t read this board due to some gloating at other people’s misery but now I love been on here. Must say all the positive posters are keeping me away from that sell bitton, reminding me that the fundamentals here are really strong and to hold for gold.

Sell your gains over 2 tax years aswell to make use of both years annual allowances. New tax year starts 6th April.

I recall this poster had impeccable experience of getting in at the bottom and out at the top every time the SP moved a penny.

Shame all that effort was put to waste and he missed the big leg up. People like him have all been flushed out and now the serious LTH is reaping the benefits.
