Floater, oh my goodness, yes, it was a different age, wasn't it, LOL. A time when boomboxes weren't lightweight, sharp-edged plastic, with no bass, made in China rubbish, with minimal, poor Watts output. Anyone remember JVC? I saw one yesterday from the 1980s. Ugly thing but now £4,000! I'm trying to get a replacement boombox, still with a cassette player, but the only halfway decent one is the Panasonic RX-D55GC-K which is for the Japan home market, so it's mega expensive to import and needs a step-down converter. I want two of them and I'm stingy. Probably be cheaper to fly to Japan for a week and bring them back, tucked under my coat.
