Can you please tell me how is Starlink going to drive the price down in Ukraine? The most expensive monthly contract on Vodafone UA (not part of Group) is less than £5 equivalent pm, cheapest is under £2.50 pm.

To drive the prices down, Starlink would have to muscle in with sub-£2 pm satellite packages. Is that the plan?

We can all agree that CEO is clueless and has no strategy beyond following instructions. Juts look at this example - announcement to open new European R&D in Malaga just before announcing the sale of Vodafone Spain. Who would do that? It demonstrates that someone else is making the decisions (probably largest shareholder) .

I still think there is huge value here and continue to build my position while SP is where it is.

You can get £3.50 pm plans today so I don't understand why you are so concerned. VOXI's own basic plan is £10 per month.

The simple reason share price hasn't risen more is that there are no details of what is being agreed.

I don't disagree customer service is poor but its exactly the same as VMO2, BT, etc. Google and MS are in my experience much worse if you ever need them - fully India based and clueless once off script.

On innovation, what do you want them to do? They are rolling out 5g in all their markets, leading in IoT and network APIs. Their overall business strategy business is to form as many strategic partnerships as they can get - innovation is therefore bought rather than built in house. This is standard playbook with Telcos.

The main reason to hold this is the book value - they are undervalued compared to the sector. Please explain how you see this falling back even further?

So they scale their satellite network, slash the prices, take a huge chunk of mobile revenue. They would have to be competing with Smarty, Voxi, Lebara etc for £8 a month ARPU whilst allowing MVNOs, provide social tariffs, essential services, lawful intercept etc.

Company strategy is buybacks. It makes sense to keep the share price steady whilst doing this.

I don't know what you want from management. Nobody expects MDV to be some kind of genius but she'd have to be stupid to start drip feeding positive news at this stage. It makes far more sense to focus on buybacks, build up stock and release results in November. UK merger will fit into the same frame.

We all agreed this is dead until November and that is best for shareholders. Trust the process (or put your money somewhere more speculative)...

RNS is too vague to give investors the idea of the underlying value being unlocked.

Also this is not a new partnership, its an extension of the existing one - this has not been a great deal for Vodafone to date.

Can I ask what middle men are you talking about?

As I understand, each Vodafone ADR is directly linked to a fraction of a Vodafone share that is held by JP Morgan Chase. They are listed and openly traded so there should be no drag.

You can look at the price historically which shows a close match but I noticed in late 2023/ 2024 this is changing and they are starting to drift apart - this is what I wanted to query.

Can someone please explain the recent disparity in SP between Vodafone in UK/FTSE and secondary listing as in US/NASDAQ. NASDAQ listing is in form of ADR so it should track FTSE closely with only currency fluctuation separating them.
