Sounds like we are on the same track Tymers. I have not sold one share and looking to add over the next couple of weeks as funds are freed up. I have thrown away the investor rule book with this stock!

Investor? nothing has changed other than to give you a wonderful chance to top up.
I am liquidating other positions to top up the week after next - it takes time sometimes! I hope that it will be around the 5p mark (preferably under of course) and I will be happy to then sit on my inflated average and ride this puppy for the next 2 years or more.
Everyone has their strategy.
Everyone has their fears.
Everyone has their goals.
Everyone needs to have done their own due diligence and research.
Everyone should respect each other opinions on this BB and not be rude to each other!

I think it is good to air concerns frankly - which is why I opened the thread. My posting history speaks for itself but I am not putting blinkers on for any share, no matter how much I believe in it as I do here with GGP.

Arnie - what your stats don't give is how many people have been tested in Italy? How many people would have died anyway if they had contracted flu? The reality is no one has a handle of this. Why are the markets crashing - because of people trying to second guess investor reaction and algorithms. And it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. I am not underestimating the concern but the effect and impact does seem to be amplified beyond reason at the moment. How many people are cancelling their holiday at the moment to Italy - I suspect not that many unless they were heading into one of the impacted towns - and that is because when it comes down to it and they have spent money on a holiday they will take a more level headed view and assess the risk and probably think what the hell - what are the odds. The financial markets work on a different level because it exists to make profit at others expense.
It's a complicated argument and at the end of the day you can only feel for the families of the deceased as with flu or any other illness that takes loved ones.

Flu: Estimated 1 billion cases worldwide; 9.3 million to 45 million cases in the U.S. per year.
I don't want to under play the concern here given people have and are dying - but the real pandemic at the moment is fear from what I can see.

The funding for the new drilling season is an interesting one - I for one am happy to go with GH which ever way he plays this card - the dilution will be nominal and if it achieves the desired outcome of an aggressive drilling programme, the results that we hope for should negate any downward movement in the SP in relative quick time (we are an exploration company and investors need to understand the word relative against our operating model!)
2. Takeover - mmmm - would we be seen to be one of the reasons for a takeover. I personally do not see this happening - rumours have been in the media for 10 years on Rio taking the helm and I don't see a big corporate takeover personally - but hey - that could be the Back Swan - and if it happens I expect it to be BAU at Haverion personally.

So with that in mind and yes I know by definition you can't list the black swan events - just what lies in the dark recesses of our fears with GGP?
I am a long term holder with a huge believe about tis company but it is healthy to be challenged.

People sometimes post as if Haverion will be doing Telfer and Newcrest a favour - this is commerce - there are no favours - Haverion will make money - lots of it imo.

Then it will be a first for our A Team Jerry.

Pacman - I for one agree with your assessment - I think GH played a blinder frankly and he has the vision to understand that Haverion as good as it is proving to be, is only the foundation on which this billion £ (plus?) company will be built. We have several Patterson targets to go from here - this is just the start but you have to be in the game to play it and GH ensured that we were at the table with this first farm in.

Haverion is in the safest of hands and is flourishing - like your eldest child that has left the next for uni or 1st steps into the big wide world on their own, you are always on guard for the slightest hint of concern with the call home but you know your kid is going to be ok.
Now for the second child - hopes and aspirations abound - you have applied for your preferred secondary school and now waiting on the letter through the door - like the RNS we hope will land soon about this year drilling programme / funding and where Scallywag and others will feature.
As parents / LTH's we will always be nervous - but increasingly hopeful and proud / richer! for their achievements!

Hi Ash. I like the odds here and like you I have taken a punt. Gold is my play for the next 5 years or so in stable regions - I don't know much about South Korea but it is rated as the 23rd most democratic country out of 167 in the world so that is a positive! Come on now BoD - some funding news please....
