Correct me if I’m wrong but the actual piston core activity with be undertaken with the benefit of having. a JV partner and thier funds. Everything is now in place as regards permits- NEPA just need to let the company know this little fact.

Having filtered due to the sheer volume of posts from said poster, just picking up on the petrojam comment. Unless I am mistaken it’s a Jamaican oil refiner - not a major oil producer. Once we get a commercial find, I’m sure that they will get a piece of the action in due course. Difficult until then to see the expertise required and deep pockets coming from petrojam. Unless I am missing something. We have a number of majors in the data room - all with sufficient reserves and expertise to take this forward. World tensions and the fragility of oil security makes a major find that is relatively close to the US just that more attractive recently one has to think.

Feels like we could be heading for 0.3 this coming week and maybe beyond. A JV announcement and then who knows!!

Irrespective of where we are with Namibia - a threat of exiting in August is strange given we will be starting Juno drilling around then - but each to their own. We are an exploration company at the moment - in my view that means with need to give the company time. As for Namibia - there are several parties involved here - Omar is not solely in control of how negotiations go. Some here in my view are setting unrealistic expectations when we clearly are not aware of all the facts - Omar can only say so much.

Good post Sheephatch - just one small amendment from my read of the situation - Juno was Callum's initiative from the outset - he applied for license E 0803497 13th June 2022 on his own - the JV agreement with the then named GBP was announced 14th August 2024 when Omar and Hamza acted as consultants.

Juno was always Callum's vision and his baby and Omar and Hamza provided the corporate vehicle, with the added potential benefit of the Namibian licence, to take Juno forward. I have read that Omar and Callum's relationship goes back to early GGP days. Callum is a patient and methodical chap and has timed his play perfectly, brilliantly orchestrating a ring fence around the initial license - no better geologist to understand the potential elephant country for deep lying gold deposits.

One thing I am sure of - if we get the anticipated drill results that we want, then every GGP shareholder is likely want to a slice in the early days if they aren't here already.

Like you I am here primarily here for Callum and Juno - although I have already got both feet in the water now already.

I think it's worth reflecting further on Callum - we have to remember that Juno is Callum's baby - he obtained the initial licence on his won and then he chose the partner and I don't think he chose the company - I think he chose the man - Omar - they go back to early GGP days. Omar in turn had identified an opportunity with the then named Global Petroleum company which has the potential to have an alternative cash generating operation that could be used to expand any initial drill campaign. But lets make no mistake - Juno and the vision is Callum's and as you say Espen, there would have a been any number of CEO's out there that would have embraced an opportunity to work with him.

Callum has always struck me as a mild mannered, methodical, meticulous, geological genius, who prefers to let the results speak for themselves. The way in which he has orchestrated the ring fencing of the initial licence has paved the way for a potential world class operation if there are multiple elephant discoveries, that would justify the capex of a large processing plant on site. But one step at a time ........ :-)

PS remember if we strike gold we are also likely to have a copper play as well

Big deals don’t happen over night. Few here seem to understand due diligence/ corporate governance and negotiation when there are at least 4 entities involved. Patience grasshopper

There are always the 10%ers and those that sell on news - that's AIM for you. Doesn't change the news. Creates buying opportunities for those seeing the bigger picture.

And don't forget we have a Juno exploration update due - if you are going to try and maximise news flow impact it's good to have successive positive news to ratchet up the sentiment
