JoeBass, what would Rios get out of buying 25% of a deposit that is closer to a rivals processing facility, that is owned 75% by the owner of that processing facility. 'Spite' really doesnt come into it. Whatever Rios can pay, NC should be able to pay more.
And, (not sure about this) doesnt NCs right of first refusal on other assets cover the 25% of Hav?

Nicol, that is current shares in issue, but you need to look at the fully diluted shares including all options and warrants, especially as all of those are in the money at current sp. Thats where 4206 comes in.
The Scally and Goliath (my fave) and others could have a much bigger impact on the sp as GGP owns 100% of those atm. But nothing has been found so I attribute nothing to the sp for the exploration upside. But if you wanted to, you could pretty much pick any number you like - for dreaming purposes!

Assuming 20myn oz the lower case calc is:
20million x 0.30, x 200 divided by 1.2 divided by 4206 = 23.7p not 40p.

I think telfer is being mined at 0.7 atm.

Torham, I am not sure at this stage. Just depends what hav comes out at and how the 100% drilling goes. If the drilling is a complete dud (unlikely) I would probably favour selling the lot taking the cash and moving on. If the 100% owned stuff is really good then maybe cash in hav and prove up the new stuff with another farm out but on better terms.

Very unlikely Torham. NC will have 75% of the only known asset. A lot of the most prospective acreage is near telfer. Anyone can bid of course but NC should always be able to pay more.
Rio could muddy the waters for NC but it’s slightly more likely imho they bid for NC than own Ggp, though I really wouldn’t want that to happen.

Torham, IF there is a deal there will only be one bid price because it will be an AGREED deal, the negotiations having gone on in the weeks prior.
My guess is there will be a deal and it will be sometime in the summer of 2021.

UR, I would hope that if NC wanted the 5% but GH didn’t think the resource had been fully ascertained, he would have a clause to give ggp further payments.
Obviously the 25% should be worth 5 times the 5% but not if they have only estimated (say) one of the hg zones as the true value hadnt been established for the 5%.
Problem might come if NC want to speed up development before knowing the full resource. Maybe then NC could lend ggp their dev costs?

Urban racer . I have always thought that the 5% is so that GH can do one of many things:
1. It values the other 25% and gives great visibility to corporate worth.
2. It allows him to pay for his 25% of mine development or
3. It gives him cash to do a lot of 100% drilling or
4. It gives him cash to do other corporate moves like acquiring more acreage or return cash to sh. Or
5. Something else!

Paddy, does telfer produce gold ingots? I thought it was concentrate and dorre? So there is another stage in the processing, plus transport to that place plus transport to Perth mint. These might not be big costs though. Plus your 500,000 should be 500 million, right? Though that does appear to be right in calc.
