DBW, I have to agree. The S&P is within 10% of its all time high. Is that how the world looks right now? I dont think so. So do we have the worlds biggest island in denial, the FOMO, or is it just a case of so much cash with nowhere else to go?
If I had any broad market equities I would sell them and buy gold and silver, but I did that trade last autumn. Never shorted anything in my private trading but the US feels like a short now.

If NM cant buy shares directly I would have thought that a related party (DGR) couldnt buy shares either. Be happy to be corrected by our resident corporate financiers on here.

The shares will re-rate when they go through the PFS/DFS work, or when BHP decide to make a move.

Mistermeister, where on earth will Solgold get the money from to do share buybacks? Is there one of Corbyns magic money trees in NMs back garden? The most obvious issue for Solgold is the shortage of cash and you suggest spending what they dont have! One of the more financially illiterate posts of recent times.

Lloyd’s vs solgold? Very similar companies so an obvious switch. Especially as the share prices are quite close together. Why didn’t I think of this?

Thanks Magic, in some weird way I enjoyed it more than the first one - which I thought was excellent as well. Some of it must be seeping into my brain! I know you said this would be your last, which I dont blame you given the time it must have taken, but if you ever decide to do any more work on GGP, could I ask you to have a look at Goliath. Besides the fantastic name, I do recall GH saying that its either an enormous gold deposit or just a load of granite and we would be foolish to not find out which! Just struck a chord with me.
