I would have preferred him handing over a few $m to drill Zulu in exchange for a chunk of it. Maybe we would only have 20-30% of it left to ourselves but that would be preferable to this slow drift down to oblivion.

Nothing said on here will affect the s/p by much so I guess we should all go away and just let it do what it likes under GR's leadership. Ukog have the backing of better oil brains than Angs to unlock the Kimmeridge at Brockham, also they can drill into Holmwood from Brockham to avoid the previous planning and environmental issues they had there.

Too late to do much now, Captain Pugwash has already run the ship aground. Now it's just a question of passengers trying to save a little baggage before it's broken up on the rocks. The time for action was a year or more ago but the doubters were always shouted down by the crewmates and told to shut up, stop whingeing and stop rocking the boat because everything was going to be ok as we had a great skipper at the helm steering the ship to the promised land. Why is the Kimmeridge at Brockham just 5 miles away, now deemed to be of insufficient maturity to flow oil, and does that not put a dent in the theory of accessible oil everywhere across the Weald thus undermining some of the reasons for Ukog's present valuation?

To be honest I wouldn't want to do business with any firm who saw fit to extend such a miserly offer. Or at the very least squeeze them until their pips popped out if they are gagging for our proved up assets in future. ;-)
