Last I heard in the recent Zambian finance minister's interview was that the government had successfully arrived at a sustainable long term mineral tax policy which is fair to both the miners and to the Zambian people.

Well, this isn't where I thought we'd be following the signing off of the AA deal. Share price continually drifting and someone offloading 1m shares daily. It doesn't inspire optimism...

Steady progress, so I'm still bemused as to why our s/p has been drifting down lately. I'm slightly uneasy that we have to turn to China for the processing plant design and construction since they are the main global competitors to the West in the graphite processing market. I guess they do have the most experience and can generally deliver projects on time and at reasonable cost?

One reason that Alba spun off GROC as an independent entity was so that Alba wouldn't have to fund all the future development costs of GROC. IMO Alba will have their hands full with Clogau now that dewatering has been allowed.

No, Groc isn't invested in Alba...

Judging by the s/p reaction following the EV event, Stefan must have failed to inspire potential investors. Maybe just the opposite?

Mining companies (and also oil/gas producers) sometimes spread the risk of large ventures by partnering with other large well funded companies. So allowing Arcm/Kopara to be bought out by another big miner may not necessarily be seen as a negative by AA, IMO.

Yes Bluejay found that the Dundas project is not currently economical. I hope Amitsoq is more viable for us.
