Ah, actually only some of them were Britannias. I wish they all were. Nasty of governments to remove inflation indexing and lower the CGT threshold. Gold is real money or at least is the most appropriate material for it. It's easily identifiable by all, doesn't tarnish, easily divided, only found in quantities roughly in line with the growing world population etc.

Let's hope there are some bonanza grades here and there in the quartz veins to set fire to the s/p, we deserve it after years of drift and disappointment.

I can't find much more info on mine or processing factory tonnages or whether they will take ore from other mines but it doesn't seem a very big operation as far as I can glean. But with several million tonnes of contained good quality raw graphite at Amitsoq which should eventually be converted to spherical and add several $1000 value per tonne once processed, the total revenue ought to be well into the $billions as far as I can see. The only question is can we access funding and equitable offtake agreements to preserve shareholder value without having to give away an arm and a leg? All this potential for a company valued at the price of a flat in Mayfair...

From what I can glean, their graphite grades in one mine seem to be only around 3% giving c 850kts of contained graphite, much less than our resource. They started building their processing plant in 2022 so are much further ahead there, and they have a Mcap of $28m, about 10x ours. They have offtake agreements in place for 100% of the factory output. I'm probably missing something but we seem to have much better grades and quantities. I guess the logistics of mining in southern Greenland v Alabama would also weigh against us.

And the company mentioned, Westwater (who have offtake agreements with a South Korean company) are also building their processing factory before they develop their graphite mine. We intend to develop both simultaneously AFAIK. I haven't checked the comparative estimates of grades or quantities of in situ graphite between Westwater's Alabama mines and Amitsoq. I guess they are further along the PFS/DFS process than we are since they've attained the offtake agreement?

Call me an old cynic but if there was anything tasty looking coming up in the drill cores I'd expect more buying rather than the s/p drifting back with the odd 500k sells.

Asllankukeli, I have to agree. If you've bought an expensive season ticket for a football club only to watch them go from second from top to second from bottom, wouldn't you have every right to complain, especially if you've been told they have good players? Similarly, I don't think moaning here will in itself deter prospective investors from buying in as they can easily see the dire s/p performance over the last couple of years. Indeed, I would find it rather suspicious to only see rampers posting and would feel like I'm being played.

They hold $32,914 worth as of yesterday. Not a huge amount as yet though I'm sure they will add as milestones pass.

In the November presentation Stefan mentioned that Jay shelved their Dundas ilmenite project as probably being too small to be of any interest but that combined with our own deposits next door, the quantities may be sufficient to attract a developer's attention. In which case there would be a small possibility of an offer for our licence area there. Now add in Jay's latest findings as mentioned in their RNS the other day that underlying bedrock to the Thule Black sands also contains high grades of ilmenite and things there may start to get interesting again. ;-)

I think sooner or later some interested party or parties will want to come on board to ensure future graphite supplies will be fed into the system asap.

It's got to be prove up as much as possible and hope for a generous offer from the neighbours so they can then own the whole continuous deposit.

From Sandfire's Dec 2020 figures on T3 (click on the T3 link towards the bottom) - They estimate probable reserves of c. 39.9m tonnes at 0.9% copper giving 360k tonnes plus 15.6mozs of contained silver.

Years ago I read posts elsewhere that even pointed the finger at AA as not being above these kinds of tactics in order to debase the value of potential takeover targets. Who knows whether there was any truth to the allegations? Just sayin...
