I think you're right Webbo - market forces dictate where this goes - that & 'news'.
In the meantime, don't take anything too seriously - just enjoy the banter.
Well considering this was supposed to have been:
"The mother of all FOMOS Fridays",
...it's been a bit of a damp squib.
Talking 'damp', perhaps it's time for RB's undies to take to the stage once more?
...I don't want to getting trouble with the Freud Squad again!!
Nothing I'm obliged / prepared to delineate here Old Bean.
:o )
Anyone remember the adverts with Clement Fraud and his dog, Henry?
BOOM
:o )
Will all due respect Adam, I wasn't quibbling, I was merely enquiring as to how the figure was arrived at.
"We are 11%+ up on the week. Heading into November."
- - - - - - - - - -
How do you arrive at that figure?
Who is 'we' in this statement - it can't be VAL because the SP on Friday last, closed at 53/54.5.
At the time of posting, we're down 2% on the week.
No quote to buy any shares at all atm.
I can get a quote to sell all the shares I hold though (not that they amount to a great many).
Unable to get a 'buy' quote again - can get a quote to sell the lot though.
hmmmm...
I think I would surprise (alarm) most.
If it did, it's back.
"Where do I see the SP".
It's a mug's game trying to call the SP before or after news.
When the 54% efficacy news was released last Autumn, that result was regarded as 'broadly positive/encouraging'. But that news resulted in the collapse of the SP from the low 60s. I got burned in the 40s, thinking the fall was overdone - only for the SP to settle at circa 20p for the better part of 12 months. I'm not good at forecasting, so, if you'll excuse me, I'll decline a forecast. The SP could easily be half or double what it is now, this time next year. It's more likely to be the latter - hence my continued investment.
On a separate issue, trading is generally frowned upon here - I think it's fair to say. However, there are plenty of references to 'buying the dips'. That is easier said than done if you haven't 'sold the peaks'. Isn't this 'trading' in a nutshell?
For the record Spacecentre, I have never posted anything negative about the company.
You will not be able to produce evidence to the contrary - FACT.
Also for the record I have two names on ADVFN (not for nefarious reasons) and one on here - the only one I've ever had.
I beg your pardon - sorry.
I beg you pardon?
Oldbaldy,
Thank you for your post to me.
"Do I see a deal?" Well yes, for both 201 and 301. We were steered towards expecting such in the Sunday Roast.
Some here suggested last weekend, that it's either this week (unlikely now) or sometime in November, because Christmas rules out December. That's rubbish in my opinion - there's no reason why a deal couldn't be negotiated, finalised and promulgated during the first three weeks of December. On the other hand, it might not happen until the new year.
Can you imagine Porky reposting the same info "for the benefit of new investors", three times a day well into 2022? My goodness. Perhaps we should all be investing in Eli Lilly & Co - manufactures of Prozac.
Ells: "Double top at 57/58."
Ice: "Yeah, and at 24. 31, 44 & 52".
Iceman wins hands-down.
Well played Iceman - you made him look foolish (not that he needs much help from anyone else)
Mind you, he's not the only one: "tiresome beyond belief" sums-up the other side of the same coin, perfectly.
Thank you OB - I'm really not a very intelligent person.
It's not so much a case of "told you so" it's more a case of "when will you ever learn".
When Ells forcast a fall to 40p earlier this week - which obviously didn't materialise, it was acceptable to point out his failings. So what's the difference?
Let's have a little consistency.
Porky quote from this morning:
"We have had the two red days the retrace and now its onwards to the next level. I’m going for an 8p to 10p+ rise today and joining the leaders board."
Like I said, this is what happens when forecasts are based essentially, on 'wishful thinking'.
Why do you set yourself up to look like a *** of the first order?
Porky,
RE you 04:09 post today,
You said something similar on Friday - you won't need reminding how wrong you were that day.
I can't help thinking your forecast is based - in part, on 'wishful thinking'.
That said, I hope you're right.
