Josh,
Did you ever post that full version of your theory - did I miss it?
PM2022, thank you for a good answer.
(tick-up).
Afternoon Sambar,
I expect to get slaughtered for asking this - so let's say I'm playing 'Devil's Advocate'.
You said:
" I've never known a time on any share when holders could be so sure that good news will arrive. "
If that's the case, isn't some of the 'good news' already factored in - after all, we have seen a pretty rapid rise from the low 20s.
Right, I've got my tin hat on - let me have it boys!!
:o )
No quote with Halifax atm either. GRRRR.
I genuinely believe the over zealous hype & ramping is putting off 'would-be' first time investors, and exisiting investors who may otherwish have added/held. Some of the repeated guff smacks of desperation.
This is an extract of what one high-profile (frequent contributor to this board) wrote at 06:56 on Friday morning:
= = = =
"... i was confident of a break of 55p this will see us pushing a 65p close today imo..."
= = = =
Let's keep it real. Let the SP rise and grow organically in it's own sweet time. There is no rush - and there was no rush to buy early on Friday - as evidenced by the SP now. I feel sorry for anyone who was 'sucked-in' by the hype.
zzzzzz
(all TLTR)
Good post Rahel. I'm quite surprised - I didn't think you were capable of cohesive narrative.
Well, I have to say, that's a pretty good effort.
Ells & Rahel, the ball is very much in your court.
OB & Badsterman,
I don't dislike Porky but I do wish he'd rein it in with the repetition - may be say something original now and again - or introduce a bit of humour, poetry, alliteration or verse?
As for 'putting the VAL back on the map - it wouldn't say much for any company which relied upon an LSE/ADVFN poster to do their PR.
Well 'rumbled' OB.
Josh,
Following your "It's good" spoiler last night, when can we expect some 'meat-on-the-bones'?
Time stamped at 13:38 was a sell of 1.9 million shares.
But if it was a 'sell', it seems odd that the offer price rose there after.
Thoughts?
Algos don't have time to read forums - they're too busy allowing 'big players' to exit.

...every bit as...
Defiant-one,
I'm with you, Ells falls short under cross-examination (fails to answer valid questions), and therefore lacks credibility.
But someone who repeats the same message adnauseam, eventually loses credibility too.
He is every it as relentless on ADVFN too - where one or two (not me I hasten - yet) have started to filter him.
Good day all - just stopped for lunch and catching up on the dialogue.
The highlight thus far is Porky replying to Ells:
= = = =
You are relentless in your quest...
= = = =
The delicious irony not lost on me.
:0 )
By the way Porky, if you ever find out what VAL's MC is, would you be kind enough to let the board know.
TIA,
J xx
Apologies for being 'off-topic', but this is just awesom...

Now that sounds interesting - very much looking forward to your theory details !!
:o )
"Excellent posting acumen" my, my, that's a first!!
:o )
Pumping and dumping is manifest throughout a myriad of boards/shares. We should all be used to it by now. If that's how people wish to behave (I'm not condoning it btw), then their ilk soon get rumbled. I was labelled as "negative" earlier this week, without painting any hint of doubt regarding the prospects of the company. My misdemeanor?
...to have not been seen sucking-up to Porky - for whom which, only radicalised, fundamental worship will suffice.
Well I'm sorry, I'm not that easily brain-washed. The only 'faith' any investor needs, in order to be comfortable with their investment, is in the prospects of a given company - and the leaders thereof. I don't need to digest tedious, ubiquitous, repetitive sermons two-dozen times a day, in order to remain relaxed.
If you (we) believe VAL's prospects are 'sound', there's nothing worry about is there? Ells is of no consequence, Porky is of no consequence, this BB is of no consequence - and yet 'The Messiah' and his disciples, get so 'hot-under-the-collar' when the occasional infidel drops by.
Anyway,
I'm in a very happy mood - villa are getting dicked.
What happened to:
"The last hour is always interensting"
"Time to load up, one final push"
"Looks like we're getting movement - 60p by close of play"
"The rockets are fuelled - I wonder how paperhands feels"
"Smash, smash smash 70p".
All quotes from this afternoon - Would have been nice if it had happened - but it didn't.
And guess who was responsible for this ramptastic nugget this morning:
"Nice steady step changes. Yesterday last hour was a bit manic indicating to some that news might be imminent. Of course we can't rule that out, an update can happen at any given moment but with the previous two days intra day drops i was confident of a break of 55p this will see us pushing a 65p close today imo."
Now, there's nothing wrong with ramping the fook out of something - if that's what 'get's you off'.
What I'm not so keen on is the abject horror when someone with a different opinion, dares to pop their head above the parapet.
Ells and Poky, appear to be to be two sides of the same coin. One talks the share down in order to 'get-in' lower, one talks the share up, in order to 'get-out' higher - and yet one is considered virtuous, the other considered abhorrent.
Why can't we be tolerant, regarding views that may differ from our own? A healthy BB boasts diversity.
