At the risk of appearing smug, I did allude to the dual listing as being mothing much to get excited about - until this starts to be promoted over the pond, how are US investors even supposed to know of the share - let alone trade it?

How can you be sure?

Why are some here convinced the 40,000 share trades are 'sells'? - whilst they appear to be below the 'mid' they are consistently well above the dummy quotes I am being given to sell - indeed, to sell 150,000 shares, I'm getting quotes below those currently advertised (2.065 v 2.1).

A trade has flooded in.

I predict there will be either no US trades today, or just one tiny token transaction to prove the shares are 'tradable'.

As I've already alluded to on a couple of occasions, dual listing in America isn't necessarily going to be the bonanza many (including me) are hoping for. It is up to the company and their marketing team (Jayne Lytel) to 'get-the-message-out' - otherwise, there will be little (if any) benefit. Talking of which, I expect few (if any) trades during the first few days of trading in New York.

I know I sound like a 'Debbie-Downer', but the key factor for me here is patience - it's a commodity many here lack. Stan, if you're still counting, I have 430,000 (post consolidation).

Dilution is circa 2.5% - I too feared the worst when I read the 'headline' - but as previously stated by others, it's rare to see new shares snapped-up at a premium - and by 'institutional investors' !

Perhaps my negative perspective is born of being 'down' on everything American since the appointment of the orange man-baby. I've even stopped buying Southern Comfort !!

PR1 and DDDD must have thought a dual listing would be beneficial too.

I admire your optimism regarding this share Miss Smith - and I agree with the issue of 'patience being the key'. However it is galling to look at the SP and see how much cheaper we could have bought in for. I therefore understand why Wcoully is so vexed.

As for the US listing, I have held two shares during their transition to duel-listing on both sides of the pond. One, PR1, has seen the continual decline in the SP both here and abroad since (and barely a share gets traded over there, from one week to the next). The other share was DDDD which folded within 6 months of being listed in the US.

Clearly this doesn't necessarily mean that the same or similar, will happen to CPAI, but I for one am not regarding the proposal as anything to get excited about. Happy to be proven wrong obviously.
