Thank you Adam

"I hear the big buyers Adam and Nick are buying.
Heard it from where exactly?
I'd need Adam to confirm as much, before I believe it .
Webbo,
I said all along that Porky's 'MO' was too similar to ST's for my liking.
Looking back at it now, it seems even more obvious than I realised.
imo, he was only ever peddling his own agenda.
...the wait is killing me.
Novice,
I can't find any hint of fault with anything you just wrote - we are far more 'in tune' with each other, than I gave you credit for!!
Best of British to you.
Novice,
Thank you for your question.
Whilst I acknowledge that I questioned your maths, that did not constitute me calling you a liar. I don't recall the specific numbers involved, but you said something along the lines of "The SP is up 10% this week" - which it clearly wasn't. You then went on to explain that 'a trading week' according to your particular example, ran Thursday to Thursday - where as I had assumed convention dictates a trading week ran Monday to Friday. I think the confusion was of your own making - if you don't mind me saying. And at the risk of repeating myself, can I stress, I did not call you a liar.
It annoys me that posters can get away with spouting unrealistic 'high' targets if they're long (in the interests of 'would be investors who might otherwise sit on the side lines (yeah right, do me a favour), where as those who's agenda is served by the SP falling who spout unreaslistic 'low' targets, are pilloried.
Would you not agree that what is and isn't fair, swings both ways?
Just because I'm invested here, does not mean I'm happy to read over-optimistic bullish nonsense, posted by those clearly hell-bent on furthering their own interests, any more than those on the other side of the same coin.
J.
Don't forget (when compiling your list Baserite), there have been even more posters guilty of unabashed ramping, than there have of de-ramping. Make sure your list is 'fully-inclusive'.
Ells,
I don't necessarily agree with much of what you have to say, however, I think you deserve a degree of credit for...
... well, let's call it 'having a sceptical stance'. Though I respect your opinion. I have added 4000 today - no doubt I'll feel even worse by the close (having bought them at 42p). But I'm hoping this reaction - to what appears to me to be 'progress', will be deemed to have been over done, and that enough people will regard the low 40s as a 'good-risk', thus driving a recovery back towards to 50s.
JT.
Novice20,
Your warning to Ells for 'guessing' is fair enough.
However, I don't recall similar warnings being issued to Porky's 'FOMO Friday 74-85 incoming' guess work.
By repeating the same message over & over, is PM2022, bidding to become the next Porky (St. Topez)?
My son who sold all his shares at 48.3 this morning, just bought back with the proceeds, at 42.5.
(well at least someone has benefitted a bit - sort of).
I've just bought 4000 more at 42.00.
My son managed to bale at 48p (well played him).
Muggins here still holding.
I would like to hear Adam's take on the effect this wonderful news has had on the SP.
"I see all the doom-mongers are out today hoping to scare people into selling "
...and I saw bullish posters before the open, mocking the bears saying:
"sold too soon? hoping to get back in cheaper? Well good look with that."
I'm even more unhappy than I was ten minutes ago.
And guess who's disappeared a la 'Saint Tropez'.
I allowed myself to get excited before the open. But we're now down on the day.
This is so reminiscent of September last year, when the 54% efficacy news (broadly good), saw the SP slaughtered.
All those mocking the de-rampers before 8am, what are you thinking now.
I'm not happy.
Gotcha!
D.
I bought a few more - I could have got 'em half a penny cheaper had I waited, but ce la vie.
Reading the posts from after the close last night, before the open this morning, and through-out the day, one can't help noticing how 'over-optimistic' so many here are. If someone bearish has got it wrong, he or she would have been pilloried - and rightly so. But to call out the failed forecasts of those sporting a bullish disposition, is considered heretical.
Will today mark the return of FOMO Friday?
No.
Will the last trading day of October today be a Big Blue day?
Resounding 'No'.
Will Information leek over the weekend?
Leek? Where's Max Boyce when we need him?
Will we get an update on Monday?
Unlikely
Will Jessica Tate discover Chester's affair?
No.
Will Benson discover Chester's affair? Will Benson care?
No.
What about the Alien abduction ?
I wonder what they'd make of Porky? - I wonder if he's been probed lately? Perhaps he's one of them?
Itchy fingers or not, I can't get a quote anyway.
Anyone else having the same problem - or is it just Halifax?
Got very itchy fingers - whether or not to buy some more at 49.5.
Very much in two minds here.
