Are you saying that if we know which way the SP is going, we want know what price it is - and if we know what price it is, we won't know which way it's going? If I may add a further point to the post you made at 08:07:

If, regardless of how efficacious a treatment is, approval was denied due to proven & evident side effects,
then the global health sector wouldn't have endorsed radio-chemo therapy.

X-ray & CT imaging for that matter, are not without risks. So the fact that someone who took part in the 201 trial suffered a mild bout of colic, a zit on his chin, prolonged flatulence or a hurty-knee, shouldn't worry anyone too much.

Why is someone who's not invested - and who wishes to drive the share down to a level at which he/she WOULD be invested (their purchase price), any less righteous than those who are currently invested - and who wish to drive the share up to a level at which he/she are no longer invested (their sell price)?

Right then. First of all, if one needs to be invested here, in order to be able to voice an opinion, then I qualify.

The fact is however, that no one is required to be invested here, in order to articulate* an opinion. The reason antofelli is getting so much grief, appears to to me (essentially), due to him/her not falling under the catargory: 'blatant ramper'.

Perhaps, if criticism is merited, if might be reserved for those who - oh, I don't know, lets see... err - rely on TA for instance?

As I've mooted before, TA is of little value for news driven tiddlers on AIM. We've had two significant batches of news this week. The first relating to a 'yet to be approved' covid vaccine, the second was a VAL's 'tie-up' with Kalos.

The former shouldn't have made much difference since VAL revolves around oncology R&D, the second should have boosted the shares towards the 28p targeted by Iceman in his musings of last Sunday evening.

Yet here we are at 19.5/20p, content to concentrate our rancorous ire, at antofelli's egregious grammatical prowess.

* 'articulate' as in 'delicious irony'.

And we're back (the BB) - as is Iceman (which is something of a relief).

Planning an afternoon nap - and an early night - so as to be able to dip in & out of the US election coverage in the small hours of tomorrow (full day's work starts at 07:30 on Wednesday). I would add my name to the list of those endorsing Iceman's posts - and Grace's - and Baxter's - and Rhubarb's.

- but on the TA front - to be frank, I'm inclined towards the notion that it's a more apposite tool when applied to more 'established' stocks on the main market.

When a stock is as volatile as VAL - driven by FOMO, 'Saint-Rampez-esque' delusional sentiment', herd instinct, and trial results, then 'Gut- feeling' is as good a guide - if not better, than TA - that's just my questionable opinion - and if TA works for you, happy days all-round.

I woke early, fancied a cup of tea - watched Mark Kermode's 'film-review' (God, he fancies himself don't he?), and as I type, the crepuscular glow of a new day, is evident through the trees at the top of the garden. Have a great weekend all - and make the most of the extra hour.

Morning all - and thank you for the congratulatory words. It's a pity I can't post a few pictures of Millie with her thick wedge of black hair.

To matters more mundane, great to see the SP heading in the right direction this morning, with more volume than yesterday - all tying-in with what Iceman has been forecasting with his detailed TA. We're in a hotel on the Lizard Peninsular, with the see 100 yards from the window. Weather forecast is for sunshine and 16 degrees (hope the Met Office forecast is a accurate as Iceman's, and that after a day in the sunshine, we get back later this afternoon with a '25' in the SP.

Been catching up for the first time since the weekend.
SP continues to disappoint - especially having bought more in the high twenties during the middle of last week.

Trying to pick one's way through the varying opinions, isn't easy. I like Iceman's technical analysis, but I also think that the sentimental influence of AIM stocks - especially one as volatile as VAL, renders charts far less reliable than may be the case with stocks on the main market. With or without charts, it's been easy to get caught with your trousers down.

I don't want to sell any at these levels - but would 'de-risk' a bit at 30p probably.

Meanwhile, having become a grandparent for the first time in July, our second granddaughter in three months arrived at 03:25 this morning. Welcome to the world Amelia.
