No offence taken at all.

My only 'problem' (if it can be termed as such) is with people who make predictions based on wishful thinking ( "Remember today will be a bouncey day", being a fine example ). Is it not right & proper they should either admit they were wrong - or have their baseless predictions exposed when proven wrong?

Actually, you said bounce at 07:15 this morning - before the beginning of another day. A day which followed 5 consecutive down days - and today makes 6.

How remiss of me to assume you meant a bounce up today - after this series of falls.
Of course, it's all so clear now - what you actually meant was an intra-day bounce.

What a pity you couldn't have made this a little more apparent for dummies like me, who (unlike those, such as yourself) with boundless erudition & wisdom) aren't blessed with 20/20 hindsight.

The 845722 trades were executed just before 08:45 this morning - and, if as would seem likely, they are sells, might explain the abrupt drop after a positive start. Either that, or it's another roll-over'.

Some healthy debate (civil in the main) over the weekend, on both sides of the argument.

Here's a question:

The bid/offer on Thursday just gone, was stuck at 6.8/7p. However, there was no quote given when trying to 'dummy sell', any shares to the value of more than £80. Any idea why this may have been - or what price I might have got if making an 'at best' sell trade?

That was one of the best posts I've read in a long while.

...and the 500,000 shares in three batches at 6.85 - were they buys or sells. And when were the trades executed?

All it took to precipitate a 4.5% rise today, was the purchase of half a million shares just before 4pm this afternoon.
