It's a mug's game trying to call the SP before or after news.
When the 54% efficacy news was released last Autumn, that result was regarded as 'broadly positive/encouraging'. But that news resulted in the collapse of the SP from the low 60s. I got burned in the 40s, thinking the fall was overdone - only for the SP to settle at circa 20p for the better part of 12 months. I'm not good at forecasting, so, if you'll excuse me, I'll decline a forecast. The SP could easily be half or double what it is now, this time next year. It's more likely to be the latter - hence my continued investment.
On a separate issue, trading is generally frowned upon here - I think it's fair to say. However, there are plenty of references to 'buying the dips'. That is easier said than done if you haven't 'sold the peaks'. Isn't this 'trading' in a nutshell?
