All they ever do is try to hype up the share price just to run another placing. In my opinion, that does the sector no favours at all. Honestly, I think the only real investment in green hydrogen in the UK right now is ITM Power. Ceres isn’t as bad, but AFC is honestly a scam.

Fair point—I did say ~90 by EOW, but to be clear that’s just a rough guess, not gospel. Mainly trying to highlight the kind of moves this stock can make, so people don’t get spooked by normal volatility. Best approach is always to understand the behaviour so you don’t overreact.

Yes, ITM has dipped to ~77p today after hitting 96p recently, but let’s remember the context. Just a few months ago it was 25p. We’ve had a huge run, and these kinds of pullbacks are normal, especially in this sector.

We’ve one idiocalling every single dip a “correction”—who went silent when it bounced back hard to over 90p last week. The truth is: these swings are par for the course. When this stock was up at 700p, it often moved 10–20% in a single day.

The key point is that the fundamentals haven’t changed in the past 24 hours. If anything, they keep improving. We’re due an RNS soon. The CEO himself has promised “serious near-term value.” Hydropulse in particular looks genuinely exciting—it’s hard to overstate how much potential there is here if that progresses as planned.

Short term, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we’re back over 80p tomorrow. Maybe even retesting 96p by the end of the week. But honestly, unless you’re actively trading or topping up, does it really matter? This is a long-term story.

If you believe in ITM’s technology and market position, these dips are just noise. Panic selling into them makes no sense.

When he singles out partners, and we know that ITM Power has long-standing relationships with Shell, RWE, Linde, Snam, and others, it naturally raises the question:

Hydropulse’s model — containerised, no-CAPEX, green hydrogen — is exactly what those large industrial players have said they need.

Today we get news that Germany plans to speed up greenhydrogen permitting with a new law—does he want to talk about that? Of course not. Does he have the slightest clue that ITM just launched Hydropulse in Berlin? Dennis Schulz literally said last week that Hydropulse will deliver near-term, serious value to shareholders. You’d think he’d pause before trying to shout it down and potentially scare off people risking their life savings, selling at a loss.

But no, he doesn’t care. He acts like ITM signing a deal with Deutsche Bahn is some kind of joke. Does he really think Germany’s entire green hydrogen push is some elaborate scam? Does he understand that FEEDs and FIDs take time because they’re waiting on government backing and infrastructure—exactly what today’s permitting acceleration plan addresses?

Honestly, I’m sick of the negativity and disinformation. It’s downright unfair to anyone who’s not as confident or experienced in this space. If you’re going to be here, at least bring facts or keep quiet.

We all come in here for actual updates, and instead we get SpicyTuna writing the same tired rant again. Acting like the company needs to have 500MW booked this year to be taken seriously — do you even listen on the calls? The revenue target for FY25 is already clear. Nobody said we’re landing multi-100MW contracts tomorrow. Those take FEEDs, permits, and serious due diligence. If we actually had 500MW secured right now, we wouldn’t be sitting at 85p — we’d be £5+ and laughing.

You’re acting like everything has to land in one RNS or it’s all worthless.

We already know the revenue target for this year — no one expects 500MW in 2025. If we had that, we’d be staring at a £5 SP, not 70p. Dennis isn’t out there securing multi-100 MW mega-contracts overnight — those need FEEDs, FIDs, and time. So unless you’ve got something new to say, maybe just STFU and stop reposting the same tired take..

Let this sink in: not long ago, we were told ITM’s break-even point was somewhere around 350/400MW annually. The market heard that, digested it, and we've seen the share price move from 25p to 95p in just a few months — a clear reflection of shifting expectations.

Now entesr HydroPulse — and based on my calculations, its impact could be transformative. With modularisation and cost efficiencies baked in, break-even now appears to be closer to 175–250MW, potentially half of earlier estimates.

Looking ahead to next year, we already know that 100MW is due to be delivered under the Shell project — that’s locked in. Which means ITM only needs to secure an additional 50MW in new contracts, alongside another 50MW of HydroPulse deployments, (rough estimate but you catch my drift) to be approaching operational break-even in 2026/2027.

This is fantastic news for long-term investors — serious firepower added to the board. But for day traders, it’s not the kind of headline that’ll spark a big move today imo. That said, it might be just enough to push us back above 93p and then that sets up a retest of 98/99. Either way, solid news, sentiment stays positive, and momentum continues to build.

First, just a reminder: a few months ago, Spicy told the chat we wouldn’t see £1 until 2030. Then, when it hit around 70p, he told everyone he had 67,000 shares — and had held them since around 50p. This is the same guy who told us ITM wasn’t even worth 25p. What’s wrong with this guy?

3. **H2APEX** completes acquisition of a 1 GW German green hydrogen project from now-insolvent HH2E. The firm is now planning a total of 1.6 GW of renewable hydrogen capacity in northern Germany.

4. **EU** launches platform to match clean hydrogen suppliers with buyers, starting in September.

5. **HYDROPULSE**: “Serious near-term value for ITM shareholders.”

6. **OMV** greenlights 140 MW hydrogen plant in Lower Austria — FID confirmed for the Bruck an der Leitha electrolyser, expected online in late 2027, producing approximately 23,000 tonnes per year.

Let’s not forget what Spicy Tuna told me back in March:

It’s honestly staggering how much damage he may have done — not just with that one message, but with the relentless daily spam, posting the same doom-filled nonsense 10+ times a day, for months (years if you include his other accounts).

LSE should be ashamed for letting that kind of constant noise go unchecked. Fair enough giving space for opinions, but this was a different level.

This is the same guy who was banging on about their short being proof ITM wasn’t even worth 25p. But now the price has ripped, he’s rewriting the whole story like he knew it all along. It’s embarrassing. Just say you got it wrong and move on — no need to play market prophet after the fact.

If they were truly that confident ITM would fail, you’d expect them to be increasing their short positions, not holding steady or hesitating. Plus, I don’t buy the idea that they know more than the rest of us—information is widely available now, and with so many eyes on the company, it’s unlikely they have a secret insight that we don’t. It feels more like they’re caught off guard.

When they built those short positions, they couldn’t have known what was coming:

They didn’t know about Hydrospulse, the shift to modular delivery, the operational reset. They wouldn’t have known if Dennis Schulz could steady the ship—let alone start turning it. But he has.

And they definitely weren’t pricing in what’s emerging now:

– German scale-up with the likes of Deutsche Bahn and other infrastructure players

– Multiple industrial-scale FIDs in advanced stages

– A clear, narrowed focus on high-value PEM electrolysers

– Real traction in key export markets like Germany and South Korea

– Political tailwinds backing green hydrogen harder than ever

They shorted a company in disarray. What they’ve got now is a company in transition—leaner, sharper, and closer than ever to major revenue inflection.

Well, put it this way: AFC just dropped a big, hyped RNS... for a potential sale worth under £1m and a profit of less than £200k. Half the chat acted like it was a game-changer.

Meanwhile, ITM is sitting on the edge of multiple FIDs, each potentially worth £200m+. That’s the scale we're talking about.

So you tell me—what’s more likely to move the needle? A modest system sale, or a pipeline of contracts that could reshape the order book overnight?
