Energy is a prime example, why have Coal with an efficiency rate of 50% (with Ultra-Modern Tech) at US$2c per Kw, when you can have Wind or Solar (which you first paid for through insanely expensive subsidies) at US$20c per Kw? B makes us more money than A so let’s contrive a situation where B is what you MUST take.

Oh, I don’t know, Bcl, maybe some of us like the Tweets and an increased Social Media output, perhaps it’s a sign of a huge news outflow on many fronts over the months and years ahead for a company with a real, tangible and long term vision based on a real, tangible and long term need for cheap and reliable power in the fastest growing part of the world?

Laugh at the 'coal is dead' brigade. No doubt posted from their 'let them eat cake' coffee shop in Brighton somewhere. The fantasy that wind turbines / solar can replace a readily available fuel source for baseload uses (the key word here is baseload) is a lie the left has peddled to the ultimate detriment of the poor. They then tell you that even though electricity cannot be stored (even their fantasist musings can't change scientific laws) that Elon Musk will magic a battery that will do the job for them. It won't of course as batteries are way off in decades in terms of costs and life cycle. Forgetting the fact that for all that extra rare earth minerals you need for a battery usually comedy through an 8 year old child digging in the third world in the most horrible conditions imaginable. There will be a huge development of coal in africa, just as there has been in Asia. All the left wing wishes in the world won't change that. Cause it is, despite what the press ram down our necks the cheapest energy baseload material on earth which isn't even that polluting in a new generation plant. JD

They are a multi-billion Yuan / Dollar conglomerate, if they want in here, it’s not to piss about on the periphery. The will fund Kibo properly to build a company they will maximise for their regional African strategy.
