A 400Mw Coal Fire Power Plant would take somewhere in the region of 2m-2.5m tonnes per year to feed. There is no way Stamico is up for a 200k per month operation from a standing start on a defunct ML licence!! Everything they have ever touched has turned to abject failure.

As Gillie intimates, all we can do is sit back and see what plays out, anything could actually still happen here.

To complete the DFS on the Power Plant they need to know specifics / properties of the Coal they are using. That means they really have to know which active mine their coal is coming from I.e they have to have an agreement in place to know this. The good thing about coming from an up and running mine is the coal characteristics will be known to a tee by the coal miner they are making an agreement with. Due an update shortly from BIPP and let’s hope it’s a good one. JD

Any breach of the 30% covenant means under LSE Takeover Rules you must / mandatory launch a takeover. They aren’t going over 30% under any circumastances. I don’t think Sanderson / Mr Tanvier Mohsin Malik wants to own any Energy company, somehow.
