About half the size, and took 6 years to construct after all designs, contractors and finding was in place. Merowe was also in the desert and doesn’t have Steigler’s topography issues. Your are looking at 8-10 years IMHO to finish and be producing Power at Stiegler, if it even gets funding. JD

The current �average� (which they are paying already) tariff in Tanzania is 242.34 Shillings / 11c USD. Our tariff will approximately be in that range. I don�t think the costs of reliable baseload energy is the first problem in the Tanzanian energy ladder, it�s actually getting it in the first place. JD

You�ll see it in the SP IMHO when something is about to drop (just before), with the amount of moving cogs in the PPA Negotiation Machine, I seriously doubt you will be able to keep this completely air tight (not from Kibo's side I may add). JD

Yes, very much, you do also have to think there is a lot in the hypothesis that the SML and PPA Negotiations are directly linked. JD

That could also be part of the negotiations, may well give the government a free carry of equity (small percentage) and a seat on the SPV Board to price they are ‘partner’ in the venture in return for some beneficial tax exemptions, etc. JD

If they are in a �deal room� with all parties thrashing it out as we speak it could drop a lot sooner than that, it could also take a few weeks if the AG (and probably President) have to ratify the PPA agreed by TANESCO. JD
