I would agree with that on the most part BUT MM's can see stop and limit orders out in the market. If they have a big order to fill, drop it to trigger stops and obtain the stock they need and fill the order. They get paid to make the market and work on volume - buy low sell high, so there is some "game playing" but well within the rules its not manipulation as such. Never ever put stops on your orders its a recipe for disaster - that doesn't determine where you will get filled and you are a prime target for them.

Not to forget also Scally is due to start drilling anytime from the end of this month so we could possibly expect something on that in the next 6 weeks.

The potential cancer plays here longer term have the chance to help people reduce the impact of one of the most disgusting diseases to roam this planet. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer at some point. Covid has provided a huge opportunity to validate VERY QUICKLY the affimer platform and raise funds to push projects in the oncology space that would otherwise have been sidelined for a long time. If that's not reason enough to believe in the valuation long or short term so be it but how about investing in something that could potentially make cancer treatments so much less painful for the patients? Not sure if you have ever seen someone go through chemo but it is crippling and horrendous.
So dont preach to me about an overvalued company when you're invested in 2 of them - im invested for many other reasons, now do one!

Nice try TGoodland.......there have been many pharmas in the past few years bought out in the billions that are loss making. Valuations in the pharma industry have a significant skew towards future potential of the technology and potential future revenues.

The RNS states "Through the collaboration with the CONDOR scheme, Avacta will be provided access to patient samples and collaborators in UK hospitals to evaluate the performance of the prototype BAMS assay and to conduct the clinical validation study.
The work with the CONDOR programme will commence immediately to evaluate the test performance using real patient samples and will quickly progress to full clinical validation."

So if we are talking about the full end to end process (which includes getting just your foot in the door!) we are somewhere in stages 3/4 out of 7, so yes half way. Although clearly the most important part are stages 3/4 so we are at the beginning of the pivotal stage with this. How long that will take we aren't sure but I can't imagine CONDOR will hang around with this given the stringent selection process in place to even get to this point.

Wimbo - I think what that says is KAT now have until Sept to get their a*se in gear and nail this down or there may not be many more extensions before we lose exclusivity on this project and someone else could swoop in.
I actually hope the JV partners have put this pressure on him to deliver and this is his last chance. Might stop him d*icking around.
