A little frustrating we seem close but no cigar yet - yes. However, the fact there seems to be nobody hot on our heels suggests this is a tough market to be in.
I personally believe as I and others have said the govt (US and UK) goalposts have changed which has come with additional “optimisation” Steps other than just max S&S. That may we’ll have meant changes to the manufacturing process that were gtg.
Until I see an RNS that says “We can’t do a LFT thanks for your money now wait years for the cancer treatments that may/may not work” I am happy to hold here.
Think people need to realise the scale of what Avct is trying to do here and the scrutiny it will come under from regulators / peer review that have so far been burned by sub standard products. But I do agree I think AS got a bit carried away with his excitement and was naive with his “very soon” comments.

We're very much in need of this environmental permit before things can move up to the next level. From the 17th July RNS we were told to expect it in a "few weeks". Fingers crossed the Ghanaian govt aren't messing around and we see that this week! A pro mining country with a Co. literally ready to start mining...

Good to see this was delivered on time (second time round) so let’s hope the rest of this updated timeline falls into place nicely. Just good to hear something is going on!

-Allowing for the completion of the Independent Studies, finalisation of the tariff agreement is now expected to be during H2 2020

Tony although I see why some are getting frustrated with AS continuing to use “very soon” etc in the RNSs and then they decide what that means in their own mind and it becomes missed timelines.....what is becoming more apparent is the goalposts are continually changing from the target markets of the test. You only have to look at the FDA’s updated requirements that were posted on here last week. It’s not just a saliva based LFT with okay S&S that is required now. Add in the track and trace ability, an app etc.
I’m glad we hadn’t got to a stage where manufacturing etc was announced for it to fall at the FDA hurdle under their updated guidelines and go back to the drawing board. All I hope now is that when the RNS comes it contains a lot more that just the S&S numbers.
I do think people need to appreciate what Avacta are trying to do here it’s not painting by numbers....it’s unique stuff. But on the flip side AS might help himself by not saying very very soon as much.

One question on this topic that remains for me also is so we wait for a single manufacturer that can produce the Volumes we may need (I assume not) or do we go with multiple (more agreements to put in place though and potentially logistically harder with quality control etc) but that will allow us to produce some in the nearer term and start to generate revenue?

I don’t think next steps I.e manufacturing are reliant on optimisation being compete. From what I understand the strip is being optimised but that will be a standard size/shape So that and the “casing” Can be worked on with manufacturers as the optimisation is done, ready to slot in the LFT as soon as it is ready.

Some fantastic finds over the last week or so from people on this bb and some good discussion. One thing that has really come to light for me is the change from “how long can optimisation take....get it done” to it being very clear this has not been a simple process and clearly way more than a LFT with top notch S&S numbers is required.
As we await the RNS which I am more and more confident will come and with extra fire power as the weeks go on, the potential competition is clearly dwindling given what we heard from FDA requirements this week and this interview today, but noises from govts that we need a rapid saliva based test are growing by the day.
I’m excited for the weeks ahead never mind years ahead with the oncology plays.

MH01 and TMT both very much justifying why NCM have the ability to ask for that kind of ownership. Okay they would have had to put the money down for what they spent during the farm in regardless but there is so much you can’t put a price on that as MH01 says turns this from gold in the ground to a genuine resource that will get out of the ground. Connections with govts and indigenous groups, access to machinery, Existing contracts with suppliers, some clout in the industry.
GGP could retain 100% of scally but who knows how long that would take to get up and running going it alone. Think a similar style arrangement would be good and on slightly better terms...but 70/30 in GGPs favour I would agree I don’t think NCM would get out of bed for that. All IMO

This is my huge issue with his pure disregard for shareholders. Surely when you propose reorgs and changes to capital structure that will materially impact shareholders, you would give them the courtesy of telling them what you plan to do as a result and generate some value. But as we all know this is a lifestyle company for him and he has no regard for shareholders.
Can not believe how he farms projects with any value off To newly formed companies and raises here to fund failed after failed Africa “billions in the ground” assets.
Still raging we weren’t even offered shares in this new MED company as Kibo holders. That may have softened the blow.
He’s an arrogant ar*e who has royally had our pants down!

Agreed. I see no way out for LTH here so think I will be voting against it and the Co can go bust for all I care. If I am losing my ££ then at least LC wont get a salary out of this.

Miagi - Numis exited the resources sector completely and GGP found a new brokers, simple as that. What is your rationale for thinking that is a signal for a placing? Interested to hear that.
As for your focus on HAV and the NCM situation, lets not forget there are plenty more targets to be drilled that are 100% GGP owned. This is not a HAV or nothing situation.

Probably letting their insti mates in at bargain prices while there is “no news” (I mean that sarcastically given yesterday’s RNS was largely ignored) until they have to just let it go when the LFT lands
