Different man in this evenings Q&A, he’s clearly a lot better when guided rather than left to present by himself.
One thing I have been saying all along and AS said in the Q&A when talking about the antibody market. It’s a crowded marketplace and there were a few front runners to get tests out that when they did simply didn’t work.
In a less crowded antigen market that same rush is t there, although still time is of the essence to some degree but the key is having a test in place that works to the levels required for regulatory approval and manufacturing parternships that can produce the volumes we will likely need.
If that’s an extra 2 weeks then that’s fine with me if we’re selling 10m a month!
Think the timeline police need to back off a little - it helps the derampers agenda!

Agreed Visainn I tihnk this presentation was solely aimed at educating new investors to the company, in a bit to stabilise the investor base, as they knew a good chunk of people taking up positions here will ahve heard of AVACTA through all the COVID hype. Highlight the other plays we have here which may or may not come off (a risk i ma willing to take) and that should create a much stickier investor base. Add to that the TR1 for a hedge fund holding, that cemented me in for the medium term.

IIs taking placing shares at 4% discount....sure bonebone this is going to tank to the teens. Moron. Oh I forgot, IIs don’t do any due diligence or Investment analysis. If it was going to tank they would have forced AVActa to place at double digits. Go make another troll account and bother another board

You absolutely cannot withhold price sensitive information....although that's what the rule book says but doesn't seem to apply on AIM. A lot of very shady interpretations of what is "price sensitive" and the deramp / sell attack prior to the placing proved this.
All rules in the code of ethics go out of the window on AIM!

Great post Gillie and I do hope LC is reading this. I personally have no issue with a fund raise as that is 100% part and parcel of being on the AIM, things change and directions of businesses have to too.
The issues I have with all this (not an exhaustive list):
1. The shameless use of Covid as an excuse to grab shares that would only benefit the BOD at the expense of PI's.
2. Zero projects have shown any tangible output that would generate revenue and subsequent shareholder value.
3. The lies and deceit that have come out from the consolidation RNS surrounding deferred salaries.
People have stuck with this Co through years of MOU's, binding agreements, hot air promises BUT only the BOD have ever benefited. My investment here is 95% down!
The BOD should be heavily invested in the business but not having driven the SP to rock bottom and trying to swoop in at bargain basement prices. They should be buying at a premium to incentivise them to create shareholder value.
I hope this mini revolt has struck a chord with him and he comes to the table with some revenue generating projects that would make a fund raise agreeable to us!

Aren't Acacia taking on all the Woodford healthcare assets after his mega fall from grace? Not sure if he ever held AVCT but could this be a transfer of assets? Could be a scenario where the Woodford reduction didn't need a tr1 but the rise in acacia did?

Usually NCM release theirs around 10-11pn GMT. You can sign up to the NCM investor relations mailing lost Via their website which handily comes out in Aus time rather than having to wait for the GGP RNS. Although it does extend the bed time a little trying to digest it

Fundamental prospect maybe but this could all just stay a prospect as LC and his merry men rinse this CO. for their salaries, the same way he has done at all his other companies.

KAT’s last annual accounts (for 2019 Calendar year and before Blyvoor even existed) are an eye opener.

The Salary Expenses have exploded north (see Page 16 for 2018 Director’s Remuneration against 2019):

I’d expect them to double or triple the Director’s Remunerations in 2020 based on Blyvoor coming on line, this is just a mass wallet filling exercise on behalf of the directors.

Interesting isn't it Slurm, sizes aren't huge but there are definitely a good flurry of buys coming through which shows some interest somewhere. Hoping with the next news we can just draw a line under the placing and move on to progressing what should have been well on its way already (with the arbitration doing its own thing in the background but assuming we get 0)

My only other thought here is if he can get a legitimate funding deal done over at KATORO that creates some value there (not that I think he is capable of doing so) and sell off KIBO's stake in KATORO to fund the projects here.
Unlikely as this would:
a) Not be in line with his multi entity money grabbing agenda
b) I don't believe we actually have any projects that funding would move us into a revenue generating position, just a bunch of MOU's and binding agreements.

If there was any genuine interest / backing from SEPCO, GE, Wimmer etc at a MCAP of 320k surely one solid project would prime us for a buyout by one of those guys. Jeez GE/SEPCO just buy us out at 1p, put me out of my misery and crack on with the project yourself at a grand total of £1.5m.
Oh wait two issues with that:
1. We have no viable projects for anyone to even take an interest here
2. Selling up would not fund LC's lavish lifestyle for the foreseeable (my heart bleeds)

We'll definitely need the good luck! CF's made every possible pint there as to why this was such a joke and voted down by shareholders. Consolidation, placings, dilution are all part of AIM and after all it is a place for Co's to raise capital. BUT that capital should be raised to fund genuine revenue generating projects - not pay the BOD's huge salaries for doing jippy sh*t and as for the unpaid salaries, don't get me started.
Three options in my view:
KIBO goes bust as it cant pay the bills
LC resigns and someone finally takes this by the balls and somehow turns the reputation aorund
LC comes back to the table with a sensible proposal and something tangible that shareholders may see value in over time

key point missing from that statement "to see them slowly drop in value and find that consolidation brought them back to what we had paid before." but to get to the price we had paid before, we now own less shares!
Now what - he tried to do exactly the same thing but came up against some tough resistance.
I think he either has to step down, come back with a fairer proposal or god forbid, just get a project off the ground and generate some shareholder value!

I guess as an II, if you got shares at 120, selling all the way down to say 125 is still not a bad return for your portfolio. 5%+ for free in a time where equity markets were getting crushed.
I think this is all good progress for AVCT and people wanting finalised, approved tests tomorrow are nuts, it will take time. Covid isn't going anywhere despite the rhetoric, the more people act on that the more likely the second wave is.
Think we need the LFT in the bag and some revenue to start feeding through before we can really move up to the next step.
Happy to hold being in here well under £1 but agree with many here, coming in at £2 was probably on the high side given what was actually in play at the time.

Adam it’s all about timing and these things aren’t free. Why raise less and have to come back for more later? He didn’t just pluck the number out of the air to have it sat under his mattress, there is clearly a reason for that amount.
If you sold out due to that placing fair enough but I think you missed the bigger picture being too hung up on feeling betrayed. Time will tell bit sounds like being sold out is best for you....

Adam. I was a bit taken aback by the placing for all of 10 seconds then had a think. I’m Sure he meant funded for general day to day operations until 2021. Not funded to grow at the international scale we need in a very short space of time. It only takes on “LARGE STRATEGIC US INVESTOR” hint hint from the placing RNS or a big pharma to tell you Here is how much cash you need to achieve your potential and what a perfect time to raise it.
I’m can see AS sat at his PC cringing before he hit send on that thinking everyone is going to hate me....but they’ll understand in due course when I can tell them everything.

How long do you think these things take Bladey to say it’s taking too long? COViD is going nowhere globally any time soon and to my knowledge, nobody else has an antigen test ready for mass production and sale (I know we haven’t yet but it’s one step away so nobody is at the key stage ahead of us)
The only people in the market underwhelmed are bunch of impatient traders on here who want the news yesterday so they can make their $$ and run off - fair enough. Along with the deramp crew who see any positive news as doom and gloom for a failing, overvalued hype company still using the placing as ammo. We are staring to see why the placing was needed.
This is a step in the right direction, a very important one, announced in the Expected timeframes.
