OGA have just notified that the licensing awards are to be announced on the 23rd May, tomorrow.

this is just noise, I wouldn't be too concerned about the small sells making such a big impact to the bid, MM's are playing games, 20p is a psychological resistance at this stage. I doubt we will break this resistance until news lands, so this presents a good opportunity to top up

Perhaps IOG raised funds on friday to buy the bacton terminal? I'm pretty sure they would've had the initial results from the pipeline pressure tests by now. I'm sure an RNS will drop and all will be revealed next next week. I can't remember the terms of the LOG loan but wasn't that purely for the skipper well? Thankfully IOG's focus has moved away from the skipper for the foreseeable future.

Total utter nonsense! The total volume traded yesterday was 8mil.. IOG would've crashed if the mid day trade of 5mil was a sell.. we are up %17.4 looking at the trade history I estimate 6mil was bought 2mil sold yesterday. My gut feel is either IOG raised equity or we now have an institutional investor on board.

Great volume 3 million traded and estimate 2mil was sold today, rough estimate that's around £380k which hopefully clears out the background seller!

One thing for sure today's performance puts us in an excellent position prior to the SNS pipeline integrity news, the acquisition news will be a very welcome bonus indeed. IOG are busy focusing on a number of areas, I think we should be prepared for several exciting news flows over the next coming months.

Great day so far well done all.. not sure why people are talking about rumours.. far as I am concerned the IOG board have clearly stated in previous RNS about acquisitions to extend their current portfolio in the Blythe and Vulcan fields. There are a number of mature fields that are up for grabs in the vicinity of the Thames SNS pipeline.. IOG now have an ace up their sleeve by owning 100% of the pipeline

Lovely, IOG has ticked up BID:16.00, ASK:17.00, I am able to sell over 250K in one lump, good sign that the MMs could be after stock and seller is out? GLA

I can see this making a move up shortly. Was good to see some chunky buys today, quite unusual and difficult to buy 150k in one lump. I doubt it was a PI trade but then there was a large sell order on the books

Nice to see some decent volume building here! its hardly surprising, there's huge potential in IOG wont be long before the market will begins to realise this. I have been out of IOG for sometime but only recently started to build a decent holding here.

The initial pipeline results will have a very positive impact to the SP on any indication that the pipeline is viable and safe to use. The 124,823 trade yesterday looks like it was a misreported trade, it's a buy not sell

Nice decent late buys have shown up.. a few more of those and we will be back up in the 20s in no time

Just noise.. the 222k @ 16p was a sell. No concerns here and happy to continue topping up.

I'd also be rather excited holding 7,236,956 shares.

It won't be long before the market catches up, this is probably the best time we will have to take position and load up whilst it quiet at current SP. The senior management team is going from strength to strength and the ducks are lining up V very nicely indeed.. only a matter of time before the market takes note.
