Good to reinvest in dollars. DEC makes up some of my Dividend income to live so not reinvested so FX does have an impact on myself.

The BB programme will be an issue for the market as it continues to be hit and miss from day to day. There are specific rules around BB’s which are primarily governed by market abuse regulations and guidelines set by regulatory bodies like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the US. There is absolutely no reason why BB’s can’t be conducted daily . It shows confidence to the market about its financial health and future prospects, which can boost investor confidence and indirectly support market liquidity. And that is exactly what Hutson needs to be doing as well as a clear outreach communication programme specifically targeted to improve market/ investor confidence in the business. Over and above the Corporate speak RNS’s and highly controlled General meetings. Typical ex banker with no charisma.

Contagion across all markets setting in apart from gold. Starting to look very serious and that lunatic Trump has caused it.

More musings and analysis out from OB about the undervalued potential of DEC. And as a current detractor it was nice to be quoted. He remains and I quote “ I remain unabashedly positive about DEC, but this isn’t some sort of state of mind. It’s the evidence. As Bush once famously sloganed…. it’s the economy, stupid.”

A lot of his evidence for the potential of DEC is correct as he has stated numerous times in his articles. I enjoy reading his detailed analysis and value the time he puts in.

Sadly none of the potential is , or has been , reflected in the share price or market cap which has collapsed dramatically and as investors we sit on large paper losses , with many trading to recoup losses , waiting for the Golden Goose to rerate to the dizzy OB/ House Broker heights.

OB never holds Hutson or the BOD to account. There are always market or economic reasons for the miserable share price performance. As an investor I’m here to make money. The evidence is the market doesn’t wear rose coloured spectacles and doesn’t care about deep analysis and potential. It’s the market stupid and until Hutson proves to the market he can create true shareholder value DEC is going to remain undervalued.

Until then I remain an unabashed detractor . Happy Easter 🐣

Agree. I’ve been saying this for months that sadly there isn’t one to hold Hutson accountable. The Institutional Investors are weak , passive and go along with whatever he wants to do as they don’t understand the business. For some reason happy to sit back and see value destroyed. Maybe hoping the Maverick deal will eventually come good and get them out of trouble. It won’t because Hutson will continue to acquire leveraging more debt.

Once again the BB’s dried up suggesting to the market either another acquisition or low on cash.

With Hutson we are now into the definition of insanity and there is no improvement in the SP and he just rinses and repeats. Sadly no accountability and nobody holding his feet to the fire. Remuneration package gets signed through with a nod and a wink and more share options get granted for decimated Shareholder Value and all the sycophants congratulate him on a job well done. You can’t make it up 🙈

Don’t be negative , speak the facts or tell it how it is as you’ll get accused of not being much fun at a party. Anybody would think we know what we’re talking about and have a pretty good handle on what the market thinks of Hutson and the BOD.

We’ve seen it time and time again with DEC buy backs. Stop start farting about . As I have said b4 just a 🐂💩 anaemic window dressing exercise that achieves nothing. To be effective it needs to be seen every day giving the market confidence in the business cash position. If not committed to it save the cash and pay down debt or whatever. But not this 🙈

It’s a sad reflection on Hutson that Private Investors have to trade themselves out of losses. GL to all doing it. Unlike your Burberry example we are stuck with Hutson. He’s not leaving the gravy train. I was very positive on the Maverick deal and hoped it was going to be the rerate turning point until all the behind the scenes shenanigans and dilution collapsing the SP. I make no apologies for calling the snake oil salesman Hutson out. I will continue to do so until he strategically takes on board what Shareholder Value is. An increasing SP reflected in the true Maket Cap of a business. All these so called accretive deals, more high interest debt, reduced dividend and dilution isn’t what Shareholder Value is about. And the US Investors are now waking up to that.

i can only assume you haven’t been in dec from the early days. i wouldn’t have been in this share if i hadn’t believed in hutson’s strategy as sold to us originally. for a long time i was a supporter of him as highlighted by gg recently ****ging me off. having suffered crucifying sp losses ( down 65% since mid 2021) due to hutson’s share dilution, mismanagement and lousy communications i have thrown away my rose coloured spectacles. the incompetence of the maverick deal getting caught out with an unexpected fund raising dilution just highlights he’ll do anything and shaft anyone in his desire to become the next jr. you can bang on about a small sp increase , how undervalued the business is , the opportunities , the land , daft house broker valuations , ob’s positive musings always blah blah blah but the market doesn’t buy it. i hope i get proven wrong as i am deeply underwater with this 🐕💩 share that regularly disappoints . for a start we have to get to £14 just to break even from the start of the year ffs 🙈

Another NED hanger on appointed who will challenge nothing as the so called Buy Back programme dribbles to a halt over the last 2 sessions. DEC BB’s are a meaningless waste of money window dressing achieving nothing for the SP.

This is going to be an issue moving forward trying to get a sustainable rerate/recovery as it is now traded for easy quick gains and as it gets to key previous fundraising levels there will potentially be a mountain of shares ready to be sold/cashed in

10000 shares repurchased yesterday isn’t massive and neither is the overall share buy back programme , if implemented, when you consider Hutson’s placings and share dilution over the years.
