To receive a dividend, you need to own the stock before the ex-dividend date, which is one business day before the record date. If you buy the stock on or after the ex-dividend date, you will not be eligible for the dividend.

As you say Terry appears start of the day . Whether you can place an order straight away I’m not certain unless you can catch it by placing a buy limit order at the end of the day for the morning

You only come out of the woodwork if you get a small rise in the SP and have a smidgeon of positivity to keep those rose coloured specs on. We hear nothing from you yesterday or last week when the SP did nothing and HH dropped . The BB’s yesterday achieved nothing. Fact

I’ll have a sportsman’s bet we’ll get an RNS tomorrow showing large BB’s. That’s the only thing keeping the SP alive. Hence a sporadic/ hit/miss strategy isn’t helpful. I can only assume you’ve never operated at a CEO level of a listed Company. I have. Hutson is strategically weak and has destroyed the market for DEC with his appalling comms , lies and disregard for shareholder value in pursuit of face saving acquisitions. Sadly this leopard won’t be changing his spots soon. I will continue to hold the man to account until he gets us true shareholder value and a significantly higher SP.

Once he does I’ll be behind you blowing Smoke up his ass 😂

it’s utter 🐂💩 by hutson if any kind of cap on bb’s is set at $13. he states that dec are significantly undervalued. house broker sets daft valuation predictions double $13. to get the sp significantly restated they have to buy every ******* day regardless of the sp otherwise it just stagnates again and by definition they are happy at a $13 sp. the bb’s are the only thing moving this dog.

In the whole scheme of things the BB’s are small in comparison to the shares issued and once again causing the damaging dilution and lack of confidence in Hutson.

As you know what BB’s do is show the market management have confidence in the business, healthy FCF and are doing it because the business is undervalued and are returning money to shareholders. Once they stop or go sporadic/ hit/ miss it sends the opposite message. These trading volumes are so small mopping up these shares are child’s play.

I’ve never seen any of the major players set a BB limit. Also BB’s send a very clear message to the market rather than a few million of debt reduction that gets no recognition when you have $2.4 Bn of debt.

Once again dreadful comms and strategically another mess by Hutson.

Never hurts to lock in profits. A profit’s a profit.

We’ve had 1st Qtr results and conference call. Some improvement from all time lows. The question now is what is going to move the SP until the 2nd Qtr results ? Have BB’s stopped if so why ? O and G is not a sexy growth sector and there so many imponderables around DEC. Then throw in Hutson and his 🐂💩.

Currently imo until 2nd Qtr results more risk than upside but I don’t think we’re going back to the 8’s. Whoever bought then are the winners and nice 8/10% divi

Good for anyone getting in during the all time low. They won’t be so chipper and happy if Hutson raids the share piggy bank of dilution again.

Any organic growth is not going to keep up with declining reserves so acquisitions still on the cards. Hopefully achieved by cash and ABS which we can live with.

I’m a realist and certainly not going to get carried away with 5 weeks of SP gain versus 5 years of disastrous management mistakes , lousy communications and a SP that has been diluted/crashed by Hutson to get him out of trouble with so called accretive acquisitions that we the shareholder have paid for.

You should apply for a NED role. They need more sycophants to tell Hutson how well he’s doing 😂. Anyway nice SP start to the day 🙈

I think the catastrophic facts are clear on the SP over 5 years. A one month gain of 19 % compared to a YTD drop of 25% says it all. It will be interesting to see if your Dead Cat continues to bounce 😂.
