You have done some good reporting though to be fair the big buyer never materilised, though it can be difficult when dealing with million shares for a few thousand pounds. I did sell out yesterday first thing and topped up my Tullow oil and took 19% profit, but missed the rise here so win some you lose some. I believe in the share and its strengths and you guys have a good understanding of it so will buy back in later under my average of 7.1 to catch the next big rise, will prob fall as usual midday. Thanks @Joekool great summary. With brent above 71 (not it is affected by brent) and Crude close by 66+ and will probably rise later today the prices are good I believe crude at 70 is the sweet spot. But the RNS's should offer a good rise when absorbed. Looks like things are tickety boo here! May well hold longer term, seems a good recovery play. What are the views of the real investors here? Melnet you may not have noticed but there is a confrontation between USA and Ian. This has caused oil prices to rise significantly. Tullow is an aim share and tied to the price of oil Hence the price rise 22%. THE OIL PRICE is likely to rise a lot further so expect further rises.... Noticed 4 RNSs came out today, have not had time to read. any real investors here that know Tullow and understand its workings and has read them. good bad or expected. I am newish. I tend to buy Tullow when oil is on the up. Price had seemed ridiculously low despite cutting net dead considerably.

It is not really about positive or negative, the share will trade as it trades and it will need some stimulus. Do not think of short term it is going up but probably not today! Will we see 1p yep most probably, and 2 p when the awaited news from Colorado comes and the news based on finding a partner it will probably go ballistic, but until then up and down and sideways. It is a waiting and building on the drops to hopefully reduce average price if possible. This is a great time not a negative time, awaiting the great rise and accumulating.

Okay, I have educated myself further on the Helium side and the RNS, for what it is worth. The highly positive have every right to be positive and the negatives (related to the RNS have a right to be negative). It is a wait and see game and pins entirely on getting a partner top come in and finance and get the Helium out. Early technical success, accompanied by enough caveats to justify further spending. Operational competence, but incomplete commercial proof. And now the pivot to partnership.

Helium One demonstrated that helium exists at southern Rukwa, and that it can be brought to surface reliably. The large amount of water made the analysis a little more difficult to interpret but the evidence suggests that there is a very rich source of helium

However, What it has yet to demonstrate is whether it can be brought to market economically along with the financial challenge in that it will take a lot of money that HE1 does not have currently and the advanced technology needed to access the helium commercially.

For me this is not negative, but maybe not as positive as i originally thought. Reason, HE1 are an explorer not a commercial operator, i.e. they are not skilled in, nor do they need to be skilled in getting the Helium out. As an explorer their job is to find, they then geta partner to bring out the helium from the water.

By all accounts it is commercially viable so therefor finding a company to work with shouldnot be too challenging as Helium is a soughtbafter commodity due to its scarcity, but it is not a quick process! Should the share hit 1pm or more, yes I guess they will but based on this RNS unlikely just yet but we still have Colorado which is more advanced in the process, so this could be icing on the cake I guess!

What is happening now is profit taking from such a massive rise based on the price of the share. Due to the red and falling share pricxe more people are incentivised to sell as they believe they can pick up at a cheaper price (as I did today) I have averaged down by 0.0011 pence and I am now in profit on the share. Not exactly rocket science and this has nothing to do with a bad RNS. Every Share resource that I have read suggests this is a good RNS. It means they are moving forward! Who is right you and the few other people here (assuming you are not the same person, (probably shorting the share) or the experts in the marketplace and the owners of the company and the vast number of buyers that bought on the day of each of the RNS's. Ummmm let think!!! This knee-jerk reaction happens on the vast majority or AIM shares... massive rise massive fall. (I missed it and should have sold high and bought back low like many others did. I admit I was a little late).

To be fair Oscar, you really should take up a hobby rather than insulting people, McNoll clearly stated If the buyer achieved 3% they would by law have top contact the company it would then take 2 days after the notification which would be today or tomorrow. Obviously you can not find any fault with the RNS which is great!

Sold out at 0.62 and bought back 4000 at average of 0.579 very happy. If it falls further I can average down and if it rises I can average up with a good staging point. Not worried about it falling as the good news is to come. Put some of the money into RKLB which is up 7% currently and rising and some in oil stocks as oil is on the rise and the whole Iran thing is not going well or rather rephrase that it is going well for oil. Catch back some of the money I lost here. If the RNS comes out tomorrow, I am in at 0.0011 pence less than I was before. The profits from the oil stocks and RKLB will give me a good sum to reinvest back when this shoots up again. Again could have sold earlier and walked with a profit but live and learn. Staying with the company though as it is only time before it shoots up again.

With you @fellwanderer, very nervous but holding, as I can not see any reason why this will not rise to a pound again when new news transpires. Maybe this week or maybe next, but I firmly believe it will come pretty soon.

@oscar the whale theory is merely another small part of the debate. The issue is the RNS's. Looking at what be known so far is the company showing success and positive moves to being commercial and is the price of the share likely to rise due to this.
