The whale24 Feb 2026 14:31
I noticed the whale theory has popped up again, just over a week now since that theory was floated, very plausible, but I think it has been established that probably unlikely based on no word from buyer/s hitting 3% or more. Helium gas is now being loaded into a tube trailer and that gas is saleable — indicating initial commercial sales have started, at least in a small, early-stage capacity. Blue Star is reported to be pursuing short-term sales agreements and looking for long-er offtake contracts.
Bluestar are at the first stage of monetising the produced helium and generating early revenue for the project rather than large ongoing sales volumes yet.
The achievement of first gas and commencement of sales activities is a milestone that shifts HE1 from explorer to a company with revenue potential, and this is being cited in market commentary as a reason for increased investor interest and share price movement.
Bluestar

Blue Star is reported to be pursuing short-term sales agreements and looking for longer offtake contracts. Full commercial volumes, long-term offtake deals, and significant revenues are forecast to grow through 2026 as additional wells are tied in and production scales.
HE1’s will achieve major financial benefit from the helium sales.
