Thanks for advice Jay, must admit kinda thought along same lines. Oil is now shooting up so a quick rerate northwards will possibly happen today for all of them. Maybe ours (HUR) will be less as a percentage as PMO and TLW but ours at the moment are solid gains so would be a good thing. Seems to be confidence in the meeting.

Re retail, I think with retail that the failures are those that have been too slow to adapt or have not invested enough in the new retail business online. BooHoo for example are doubling year on year as are many other online businesses. It is merely a morphing of the way buying is done than any slowing of the economy. UK is a strong economy and growing.... faster than Europe I believe. Many investors are looking at UK as a haven to invest which would not be happening if there were concerns on the future. May's term May end in May. but may not! it has no bearing, probably there will be a re-vote and the people will say stay, they may be so sick and tired of Europe and its shenanigans they will say 'get us outa here' but Britain will do well in or out regardless.

Okay price is down 4.55 for Brent and 5.71 for WTI pretty hefty falls. Yet we only fell 4.71, Premier fell over 13 % and Tullow fell marginally under 8,

We seem to have a floor at 0.557 which is great, meeting next week probably the catalyst for that. dumped a few Shorter's and non committals.

Unless there is another massive fall on Poo rebound is inevitable.

Yep probably a good time to be hanging on to an oily like Hurricane which based on information provided by RNS, and people on this site who generally used to seem to be extremely knowledgeable on Hurricane and the oil world. Assuming they do hit blactk gold or POO as it is so fondly called then the investment company (slips my mind which) who stated 0.75 target and also the 350 potential I saw some where from maybe the same company could well be very realistic infact 0.75 should be a historic price when that oil is hit in a week or two as was mentioned in RNS and here.

Admittedly, I am not holding my breath but man it would be real nice if that baby turns out be the gusher most of those in the know believe it is.

Oh sorry I forgot one - We are coming up to summer when the price of oil generally rises as masses of tourists take to the road for holidays and dry up much of the overhang in oil supply for 2 months.

Haha, Not sure if the American Iranian oil thing will have too much impact as it has been going on for a long time.

The Iranians through their Houthi proxy blowing up Saudi and other Arab oil and other ships/tnkers in the Straight of Hormuz, the Venezuelan thing, Russia finally coming down to their output level, Saudi covering for the drop in Iranian oil supply but also offering cuts in supply, OPEC meeting statements, A major oil facility closing down for repairs, the war that has been reborn on Libya affecting major oil fields, attacks by Daesh on oil facilities and other groups for that matter. Canada's new laws, a drop in US production from frackers, Iraqi oil facilities being attacked. Russia selling contaminated oil to be refined in Germany.......... Ummmm maybe these might have a slight baring on the price as well????

As this is an HUR board can we keep it HUR, it is very confusing, and that is kinda the idea of a discussion board. Happy to hear tips like a quick "pop over to the Sirius board" but really guys, I do not hold them and nor do a lot of other members here i am sure so it is irritatin

Does oil price have much baring here. I guess if they are about to open up a massive reserve as the report seems to suggest possibly in days or more likely weeks. maybe it might be price sensitive.

I hope I am right about opening up, somone mentioned it was already set up but going trough the last stages of getting flow on line

Oil is not just about energy, many products you use on a daily basis are made from an oil component. Your electric cars do not have any form of plastic or oil pards (dashboard that come from oil in a different form....

China has two Yuan's, internal and External. External is form outside trade and internal is for the likes of me who live in China itself. The external has already devalued this weak. The external is run through Hong Kong.

i can not say much due to censorship but I am not sure that raising the price of Iodine will cause to many problems as they will bring it in through Vietnam or Thailand or another local country who does not have the tax....

So you and JJAL - tell me do you buy in HNR when the price is low spending 50 to 60 000 catch a good profit,
sell the shares at 1000 to 8000 each time to give the effect that is mass selling going on then short the share for a fall through PLUS500 or one of the other companies.

It is obvious you are not main stay shareholders and your disregard for what is actually written in the RNS shows you are really just trying to force the price down. Really! how much do you make doing this must be very lucrative assuming this is what you are doing. Other wise why would you be here. certainly not as a shareholder.... You would have to be a complete idiot and loser to constantly talk your shares into a loss. So really any new share holders please take think very carefully before taking notice of these guys. logically their game is very obvious.

You really should be careful, this RNS was resoundingly positive there was not one stroke of negative in there. even the time frames are surprisingly quick. If you must be negative , sorry not if, you always are..... at least be factual. maybe if you buy some shares in this company you will be see it in a better light instead of betting on falls in the company then coming in negative to try and bring the price down. I try to see your side but in this instance there is not one..... so the only assumption is either the company fired you and you want vengeance, you are shorting this stock which is immoral or you simply have no business sense and do not understand what the RNS stated.... is there a fourth choice?

Sorry did not catch your post but yep, it is just beyond belief the speed this has happened and the potential is (based on the (RNS) is incredible.

There seems to be a lot of selling but the amounts are tiny and I wonder how many of these are really sells. The buys are up in the 100,000s a few of these which just one of those wipes out most of the sells. I they just squaring of the accounts. seems a bit strange after an incredible RNS, no one in their right mind would sell on this news!

What am I missing here
