Assuming a $3 per mcf gas sale, which I think is conservative gives us following broad brush NPV. I’ve assumed 700m shares in issue.

Low - 10.8p
Best - 16p
High - 22p

If you apply 50% contingency to the above SP numbers.

Low - 5.4p
Best - 8p
High - 11p

Ssccss…… they will and if the company can continue on the path of delivering its strategy and releasing good news, at some point the market has to take notice of that and price the market capital accordingly.

The issue at the moment, and recognised by the company, is that Oilex has too much legacy and is a traders dream. There are orchestrated groups all over this (wait for them to arrive now I’ve said that), which haven’t done an ounce of research, because they don’t need to. Their sole purpose is just to bash the company, bash the positive posters, bash the research, bash any intel and just to spread fear and doubt amongst the invested or potential investors. Goes on all the time in most shares and is just common place in AIM stock.

The liquidity and free float of shares allows this.

Thanks PIface….just trying to keep some balance amongst all the vile comments made on here. The 0.42p only generates a market capital of £30m which in comparison to some non producing peers feels like that’s where it should be. Just need to get the raise detail out and announced and then flow rates and we may then start the chance of a re-rate to that number.

Gordon. Lets put this matter to bed once and for all. On the 14 April the market were informed via RNS that Oilex planned to ‘raise funds over the next approximate month.’

As a result of this announcement, despite the other good news in the RNS regarding Schlumberger appointed and a gas sales contract with a premium, the share price declined and finished on a close price of 0.19p.

On the 14 April I contacted Roland and expressed by concern about the price drop and more so about the raise being undertaken at a discount. I gave some rationale as to why I felt the raise should not be below 0.20p based upon the success and achievements the company have made over the past 12 months. As a major shareholder in the business I wanted to voice my concerns. These were acknowledged and confirmed that the price aspirations were higher than 0.20p.

This week I followed up further to try and ascertain what progress had been made. I remained naturally concerned about the matter. It was acknowledged that progress was good and at a sensible price. Further it was acknowledged that the raise was likely to be underwritten by a single funder.

Now I don’t believe there is any price sensitive information in that detail and I have received assurance that my concerns were being taken into account and that matters were progressing well.

Also this week I am aware of another HNW investor reaching out to Roland and they received exactly the same detail, with the addition of the word ‘premium’ being confirmed. Again, no price was given, and this doesn’t in my opinion constitute price sensitive info. They have merely sought to express their views as I have.

I have been called names, a liar, a con man plus much worse and yes I’ve reported posts, yes I’ve responded to individuals and in hindsight I shouldn’t.

My sole reason for relaying this detail has been to share the truth of the matter, and hopefully give people a balanced perspective on the issue.

Now no doubt I’ll get shot down in flames again, and I understand that certain people won’t want to believe me. I am comfortable with what I know and shareholders interests are being considered.

We all need the announcement to come, to conclude the matter, and in my opinion I don’t think we will have to wait much longer.

PIface….at last a sensible and very informed post, that adds some of the colour around the world murky world of AIM. And you are absolutely correct HNW PI investors do contact CEO’s and conversations and discussions take place. Any CEO worth his sought seeing a PI put £100k plus into a share with a long term investment strategy, will want to ensure that PI stays a loyal and motivated shareholder. What certain people on this board fail to recognise or just want to purely smear, is when you relay any of that detail or research or conversations, it just gets turned upon and you get a barrage of abuse.

I have spent copious hours researching this share, both the positive and negative, and have built up a relationship with the CEO.

Not aware any of mine have, but yours certainly have. Anyway not wasting my time debating with you anymore. You plainly have an agenda here.

MrInvestment I posted this on the 12th April ….just to keep the clarity correct.

TWB....Let's discuss the elephant in the room - cash. The monthly cash burn at present is about £103k for operating activities, but this excludes any interest or other one off costs. Let's take the average of what they have been for the past 6 months and we get total monthly cash burn of about £150k.

Decembers quarterly reported stated we have £1.82m of available cash. Now some of this will be required for the refrac, but as yet we don't know how much. Let's assume £750k. That would leave us with £1.070m.

4 months of cash burn since December at £150k pm leaves us with £470k. Or put another way another 3 months of monthly cash burn, taking us upto July.

Now we know we have income from gas/oil sales starting from last Friday. Let's assume a conservative $3k per day (£2.3K), that gives us income of about £70k per month, so puts a dent of about 46% into the monthly cash burn.

Will we need to raise? I suspect with ongoing production costs and increased operational costs the answer will probably be yes. The question would be when? June/July perhaps when hopefully the SP has appreciated a bit more.

Or maybe other funding methods are being considered as I know the company are speaking to more institutional investors.

You on the other hand have contributed absolutely nothing, except trying to cast FUD. Look that up.

If you think getting rid of a major shareholder off the board is in the best interest of the everyone, I personally think you are deluded. Either that or have an agenda.

When you invest six figure sums of cash you should make it your job to know the board of directors, both strengths and weaknesses . It’s called due diligence. Any board director that will not converse with a serious investor is not worth investing in.
