Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Lucky for us shareholders you got drafted in
your next post says he died in 2015, anything better to do ?
Opposite each other in my town, and both have more customers than they can serve quickly. Seems the whole of UK wants to buy things they can hold and carry, the download discussion may have to re-think their position.
Good luck, the shops are extremely busy, all about margins. Volume versus overhead cost though will be significant. Basically selling more from each site doesn't put the rent up, ot the wage bill.
Seems this dead cat might have 9 lives still intact !! either way at this rate your shorting attack will probably be able to start from well over the 100p mark. Careful, you might get caught with your shorts up.
Noted SP jumped a further 12% today on top of yesterdays significant gains, seems like the coffers are filling up nicely. Also noted the cup has fully formed, where will the handle take us ?
I noted this Friday/Saturday the second hand smart phones/tablets were selling well, I thought they were expensive overall, hey ho; Or rather Ho Ho Ho. Today the SP jumps up 5.5% on small margins. wasn't just me buying though.
you need to talk them up then if you want to short in the New Year, careful not to get mixed up here.
AL75, yes seems logical, I know from experience that a huge amount of people know where the shops are located. As for statements that 'physical retail' is dead, this could be said about a great many retail businesses. I note today that vinyl has outsold download in the music industry last month. I believe people like to have something to hold and inspect and know there is value there. The TV advertising seems to be working, if the company is going down the pan why throw money at expensive TV adverts ?
You must be pretty disappointed with the recent increase in SP over the past 2 weeks. Have a look at the footfall in the shops, they are extremely busy, as you would expect at this time of the year. Interesting how the SP is now creeping up despite your perceived negativity. Perhaps the lure of the dividend at year end Ex D. is interesting some. Maybe their are other movements and announcements afoot ?
My local store was jam packed at 2.15pm this afternoon. The 5 staff operating the tills were non stop and the average queue depth was 14. Now call me observant, but I got the impression this was the busiest shop in my local small town. Lets hope they are selling profitably because the volume of customers was impressive. The shop manager confirmed this was normal for a Saturday, but also, when asked, said the lunchtimes were now also exceptionally busy during the week. Staff looked very well motivated and were very busy.
This was excellent news this morning. Made a lot of money and now very happy. Sold out and invested in MKS
Trading at 98p at 3.30pm then big gain at the death, closing at 103p. Announcement coming ?
Wednesday to Friday saw the SP move sigificantly North, from 85p to 105p. This is a serious movement in the SP, almost a 25% gain, wonder what the company will say about this ? are they obliged to issue the standard "we don't know why" comment ?
Now make that +20% in 2 1/2 days and still climbing steadily ATM.
Interesting SP upwards movement, up 10% in past 2 days. Does someone know something not yet announced and thinks this is a good investment opportunity ?????
I thought today would have seen 123 with 128 tomorrow.
So SP will go up by 5.5p tomorrow then.........
I took the opportunity to get some more at 131.5, then 129.25 before watching them fall further. However the question now is will they finish the day in Blue ?
I was lucky enough to start buying in here at 65p, 75p, 94p, and 107p and now showing +67% overall. Whilst I was surprised with the level, and severity, of the fall, it had been happening for quite some time, March 2014 when the SP was touching 500p. However the SP has climbed almost daily to a more understandable level, and clearly still has some catching up to do. If/when the company reinstate dividend payments the SP could well climb back close to 300p. Any further rumours of Bunzyl or improved trading conditions should see SP above 225p. perhaps a lot of staff members are steadily buying in and there are few real sellers here. Anyone else and thoughts or knowledge ?
