has anyone fallen out ?
Pity I didn't wait a little longer for the inevitable bounce before the good news
Well after the trading update let's see if any of the directors will want to significantly reduce their averages and make some share purchases. We will know the direction of the company afterwards.
Presume no one ever expected Vinyl to make a comeback either after CD came and went versus the downloads. However a lot of people feel comfortable with something material and in their hand. I note Game has surpassed the 5 Million download figure also. However the shops are very busy and people still want to hold something after they have spent their money. Not been to Barbados but rather liked spending time in/around Blue Bay - bars restaurants in Mauritius when I lived there.
Thanks for your insight from Spain, I will be heading off to Constantia for a month shortly for the mid summer, JB Met at Kenilworth, and innumerable visits to some of the worlds oldest, finest and most picturesque vineyards. mostly on the dividend payment from GMD.
I bought 100k at 52p at the double bottom. so enough of the falsehoods from you. You really seem to be at the sharp end of Sony and Microsoft to be able to predict there next releases. Hopefully you are not panicking too much over trying to short a growing business. I note Cannacord Genuity increased their target price today. Seems you are much better informed than they are. Good luck.
Hahahaha so now you are putting the death knell on Nintendo as well. Will it be Sony next with the new PS5 or Microsoft's Scorpio ? Check out the numerous new job vacancies for GMD, you might get some insight there.
Pleased to see strong underlying growth within the business and 68M retained cash in hand. New consoles due from 1st week March, lets face it who really wanted to buy older format consoles knowing new releases are just around the corner ? I suggest we will see a new SP target of 105p by end March as consoles sales kick in to compliment the rest of the growing business.
Interesting appraisal, hopefully not too many Game employees are reading your employment ending post. Will you be seeking another solid 10 points. I note Hull City have a solid 13 points but are still adrift at the bottom of the league. AGM Tuesday, I wouldn't start your short before that.
Should have some indication of Christmas sales by end of this week, watch the SP from Wednesday onwards. The AGM on 18th January, is to discuss the share buy back program along with other items.
We should see upward creep this week, a very busy Christmas will filter thought quite soon.
oh and fresh turkeys 5 days before Christmas ?
Hope you are not feeling too blue looking at the share trades today, lucky you are not holding a short position.
You saw the double bottom and the SP move above it's 50 day average, you can see the cup and handle which was formed. Now a head and shoulders to follow. Betty Swollocks as your shorts heat up ?
No internet in outer space ?
make sure you take a pen
People will try to talk this company into oblivion, good luck with the shorts. You will be telling us they are cancelling the dividend payment next going ex d on 29th December.
Hi Tom, stick to playing games, or get out of your chair occasionally and take a look at the long queues in Game. Seems you have lost touch with the real world, people still do go out.
Fully expecting a very strong start to GMD at the open on Monday. Along generally with the whole positive sentiment in the retail sector. A possibility of the SP moving towards the 80's ? Think positive all current shareholders.
ValueMB obviously trying to start off the weekend panic by raising negative issues. Won't change the SP for the next few days though. Any share that jumps 40% in a week with no comment from the board has perhaps something happening up it's sleeve. It is possible all the fine details are not yet sorted so no announcements. What has not been raised yet is the possibility of a merger between the 2 companies, Extra floor space in larger premises will allow GMD virtual business and competitive interactions to flourish. Whilst the overhead costs will be considerably and well serviced with the booming second hand market in Tablets PCs and mobile phones which both companies are currently having great success with
