I believe the BOD decided to save their 5 jobs at the expense of the shareholders. I believe many of the LTH were also employees and loyal customers with shareholder discount cards. In this scenario the BOD saving themselves at the expense of everything else leaves Debs with very little remaining customer loyalty and little chance of surviving. The bond holders will suffer in due course also, and like the LTH will probably wish they had accepted M A's offer. However bondholders are not playing with their own money so won't really hurt them. If Ma manages to get this cheap in the short term and reinstates the shareholders even to 3pps he would gain and create a lot of loyalty and respect/support.

When companies prepare to make bids the SP generally slides a bit as SPD did past 2 days, couple this with the general cessation of the media tit-for-tat between the BOD and MA, may mean they were actually talking, may not be directly. Finally if SPD did pick up the 3.7M at close they saved themselves 120K (not a big lot really). This would though, put them into a bid situation on Monday, if Monday SP moves past the 2.4p mark early then expect an RNS.

I looked at the 1 week graph and noted a 45 degree decline, looked at 1 month and saw the same, then same for the 3 month and 6 month graphs. Looking at the 1 year graph I noted a 45 degree fall, also looked at the 3 year graph and noted exactly the same. At least there is some consistency there, for the LTH here perhaps sell up and take what's left, might be enough left for a Turkey at Christmas !! eat the Turkey or continue to hold the Turkey ?

Perhaps didn't fancy a SAGA Cruise ? Seems he will now be hedging all his bets in the future.

I note the share price has been falling for 12 months from 212p in 20th March 2017, it does seem to have bottomed out now.
