So we should expect a sizable increase in the SP going forward then, up towards, and then past the 75p level.
Toddler, the SP moved from 34p 3 months ago to 58 today. You must be quite remarkable to see that as a downward trend.
I'm a bit surprised that you thought an equity, which has been falling for the past 9 months, would suddenly bounce back up again because you bought in. A company making close to 200M in annual PBT and paying out dividend at c7% currently is worth more than the current SP suggests. I have always maintained this will take a little time to establish and then recover. If there are better options then shift your investment.
Farmertally, The English words "Us" and "We" refer to a group, would you like an explanation for the English word 'Group' ? I wouldn't waste my money backing you in the annual slug race we have here. Ref. I'm not banking on a takeover, merely suggesting this could happen to company with a severely depressed SP making large profits. My only forecast was to check back in here when the Daffodils Bloom. Dependent upon the region of the UK this will vary between Mid March to April. You state you will make 30% very quickly, perhaps you are from the Silly Isles.
Farmertally, at least you have now disclosed your position here and joined the rest of us in waiting for the daffodils to bloom. Perhaps you got in just to soon, like the rest of us. Yes we all agree there will be a substantial bounce in the SP, even a old soak can see that.
Best not to look at this daily, just put it away and come and look again in March. bit like planting daffodils. Clearly this company has become over-ripe for a takeover. The new buyer buys up and absorbs, and kills the huge dividend back into more profits. A win win win recurring scenario.
I think it might be somewhat uncomfortable this weekend for any shorters holding on. Weekend press should spell out the apportioned values of the separate divisions and the upside potential. This could lead to a Monday morning blast.
Have to be careful here, if a broker sees a chance to significantly downgrade, before advising his clients to seek longer term growth. Let's see if there is any further bounce tomorrow, depends upon the press coverage for short term.
