I trawl back over old articles when the wife is at work, as I'm sad like that lol came across the old article the other evening, then that article came out today, given some weeks ago it was mentioned somewhere Gas could be an option to me looks like would fit into MF strategy. Like you say I am sure government would jump all over this, plus UK will have a shortage in yrs to come plus with Brexit not Brexit happening would certainly add to the economics.
Take an uneconomical/ stranded field extend its life and make it economical sounds familiar.
I allude to some research that I have been doing in reference to NUOG and MF earlier on in the day. I see research as a valuable tool to any investment strategy you might have. We all know MF Strategy is to unlock economic value out of ageing fields or stranded fields, I also try and link recent articles to one those in the past to see if there is any correlation no matter how big or small they maybe. I have come across 2 such articles that I consider could well be in our remit. The UK and the wider world needs power and always needs new ways for extraction and given the shortages we are about to face in the coming generations and the more recent Blackouts the world over have been witnessing I note (NEW YORK 2003) we need new solutions.
Low and behold my research in the below articles today speaks of such matters and would fit MF profile. Not to take this one in isolation the second article with our very own MR Minty correlate perfectly with today’s article.
Now you might say this is pie in the sky stuff but I think you will all agree that the 2 articles correlate perfectly together and could well be the much talked about curve ball. Research is key and I would be very interested and keen for the company to explore if they aren’t already.

As you can see from the older article from 2014 Minty saw this a viable option to explore over 10 yrs. prior but the technology wasn’t proven fast forward to today’s article it very much to me looks like this project may come to fruition and is exactly the same vision as our leader.
This is what research leads to when the wife works evening and I have nothing better to do.
I do see a fantastic correlation and fits perfectly into MF Strategy.
All the best.
Biggest indication yet.
You very well maybe right and the correlation of dommo news on Friday.
I have also being doing some research which I will put on here later in the day which might find interesting or certainly I find interesting also.
All the best busy afternoon ahead.
We've appointed Ivo Dworschak to lead development of project opportunities in Brazil. With over 40 yrs’ experience, primarily within EPCIC, Ivo’s knowledge, skills & relationships will assist in acquisition of projects. Ivo is based in Rio de Janeiro and starts immediately.
Well well well, immediate start in Brazil, what was his job I hear you say not only the OS X commissioning engineer.
All the best
I too contacted Simon this morning about the RNS alert last night.
He has looked into it and looks as though it was an error with the provider.
So still we wait thought would let you know the score on that one.
All the best
I wonder where my post have gone, seems only negative posters are allowed on this Bb these, you post reassuring messages saying Brazil is still be negotiated and get removed, thanks for that.
Low and behold what does Simon do today he tweets about Brazil, North Sea etc...
A reminder to everyone Simon tweets through NOUG Twitter are part of a regulated strategy agreed with Nomad he wouldn't be able to tweet if they weren't happening.
The tide will turn soon.
Good morning, Thanks seadog, your contributions over the past year and a bit have been great, and I am sure ongoing post will be great too. It remarkably quite on this board and I wonder if the trolls paid and unpaid have finally accepted the good ship NUOG is about to set sail northwards and carry on going north at a rapid pace. We have never been a one trick pony, so despite the disappointment we have faced over at Garden Hill the prospects of MF and the consortium is a real mouthwatering. I too have always said why have companies like AKER joined forces with little old NUOG, well they can obviously see the benefits, these companies are about making money and adding value, and yes despite nothing being announce right at this moment, there have been no news in saying AKER et al have given up the ghost and the consortium has split, now that would have to be officially RNS I would say, some would have you believe that is the case and just goes to show you the depths people will go. I feel our time is about to come from making this a share to remember, lots of stuff being said about next week, well I don't know about that but as a LTH I hope that is the case this has been well undervalued so anything postive we all know how this moves fast, so I would say people have a decision to make probably tomorrow if you are sat on the side lines. Blink and you might miss it as they say. Good luck for next week if it is the week we finally hear something.
Maybe available to buy or lease, but I assume some modifications would be needed, then get it over to Brazil. Which will take its time, Maybe someone with much more knowledge than mysel, could give a more accurate timespan. As said just speculation based on Brazil poster who mentioned octopus, but octabuoy seems a very good fit and would tie in what we know about China and China facilities.
If this is the China play, then it will take some time to put into operation over in Brazil, I'm no expert but maybe what 18month 2-years. So I assume OS X3 would be used until such time it is ready to be used. so we would have sometime to decide what to do with the osx3, but it would still be an asset to the consortium
Just want to pick up a point from the Brazilian bb, obvious they are speculating as much as us on what is currently happening, plus not sure how accurate they are either. However they have raised a point about an FPSO octopus, now I don't think he meant octopuss, but Octabuoy, which I find very interesting and guess where that is based, you guessed it China, and guess who have identified something in China, you guessed, and the small matter of Mfdevco China facilities, so could this well be what we are negotiating on right at this moment. It would certainly be a good piece of kit to do the work on the Brazil field.that is needed. Just thought I would investigate and do a little bit of research on octopus and came across some readily available information, and by the way it's available. Maybe just another dot to join who knows but something worthwhile to discuss and whether this could be a possibility that the consortium are considering right at this moment. Just thought it was interesting comment from Brazil, to do a bit of digging. All the best
DSR looks like its just the formalities to take care off.
Lithium news is what we want then I think it will move quickly, its looking positive at the present.
I also 2nd what cannons said, hence why I mentioned it earlier.lol
I saw the tweet from WA this morning.
I was going to mention it last week as I also think any deals within the UK will get more people and investors involved and more exposure in National press.
We have seen the news on fracking in Lancashire, what better for an environmental friendly piece of tech for good exposure and 2 UK companies working in partnership.
Im also hoping we get involved with Cornish Lithium also.
They are also working with WA.
3 months is today, a nice intra RNS will do.
That is true Sharelock and probably for good reason.
What I will say do the tweets replace a RNS, no they don't, and the company are aware of that and acknowledge, but as an investor would you rather have silence and no comms, or have a formally agreed tweet direct from the company outlining Brazil and North Sea.
Lots of people have complained about the tweets, could they be better and in some aspects yes they can and I believe as the company get more use in using Twitter as a means of communicating to us they will, but as Share lock has said they have remain consistent.
Remember before NUOG used twitter at all, most shareholders were pleading with them to use this medium to communicate if no RNS was forthcoming, now that they are its a step in the right direction so although frustrating that we haven't had an RNS we have had official communication via twitter.
My guess these tweets fill the void between news and a lead up to announcing the deals that they are currently working on.
sorry been a tad busy.
AS far as I gathered and I speak and in communication, with Simon quite a bit, the tweet are part of a Social media Strategy that has been cleared by the Nomad on what they can and cant include in regards to the state of play in regards to all deals.
So Simon will be using the guidelines in what has been agreed with them to post. So I would say the continued mention of Brazil and North Sea pretty much means the deals are happening, but when is a another matter.
Busy day today so catch you all later.
Read the post in its proper context will you. I know how long it's been
Whatever your take on it is, and yes everyone wants to see an official RNS including myself, but the tweets we have been getting over the past few weeks have all been formally cleared by the NOMAD as part of the strategy. So when official tweets are posted about Brazil and North Sea then you have to assume that the Brazil deal is very much progressing. It's a case are you a believer of the deal or not. Personally I'm a believer always have, although comms could be much better than they have the bid have spelt out what they are doing, if the deal is in the well publicised field in here then after announcement this ain't going to be 1p will be much improved, you have seen the calculations of potential sp value one worth waiting for. Remember when the deal is announced it takes us to an immediate producer, now that is something to hold for in my opinion. We enter the valuation curve further down the line if this was a conventional play. Complex deals take time, yes very frustrating for us shareholders that want results, AIM shares are very much dependant on sentiment and flowing news and as we all know there hasn't been a lot to go on so its no real shocker to be at this current price. But as said its a complex deal with many elements to it all parties need to be in agreement and once it's at that stage we will get to know. But going back to my first point the NOMAD has cleared tweets so if the Brazil deal isn't moving forward or not on the agenda they would be running a very tight line, so BRAZIL and North Sea are very much on the agenda so it's whether you have the patience to see it through, unfortunately 24 hrs holding a share is too long for most people investing in AIM and if it doesn't fit into their schedule then they class it as a dog of a share. Could the company improve, of course, I have made this point on several occasions, show me a company that is perfectly run and doesn't encounter any problems along the way. The wait continues and I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.
Agreed Snowman,
Unfortunately people holding 1 day 2 days is long term for them, the amount of people that posted on here the day of the RNS last week that io haven't seen before and probably wont see until the next one.
Don't mind people taking profit after the rise after all we all want profit, most have been traders expecting the volume to amount to an RNS and once they realise its not coming that week they bail.
People who will benefit will be us as this is an investment so the lth here will do well.
I expect once RNS is out we will get an infux of posters again, I will probably not comment much on the day of news, but rest assured I will be still here.
All the best
What a load of tosh,
WA are doing the audit you plonk.
