Our own Nicholas Welham has made a comment on his LinkedIn with his congratulation to WA.
Bodes well.
Lithium audit results anyone. Must be close
Well let's see what happens, we might yet hear further about the spv.
My understanding of open offers, they have 3 weeks from the announcement so that give them to the 19th April in reality. Then there will be a set date shareholders can take part in. Will have to wait for the actual details in regards what can be allocated etc..
Cobra,
I am not telling you or anyone what to do that is your choice. I am my own man and I too have a massive paper loss. I have been guilty off over contacting the company at times and trying to hold them to account not just for my benefit but for all of us that our invested here.
But I disagree with the tone of what Graham has said and what Minty used to say they are chalk and cheese. So 10 weeks ago it was the AGM and Graham coming onboard yes nothing as of yet but the flow of the GTW stuff is the best bit of flow of news we have had in recent times backed up by some quite good information on their blogs about GTW.
We have all been frustrated no question about it and now for me it time to put our faith in Graham.
But I am happy that LT and LY have made that stance but I am also sure they are as much as frustrated in what has gone on here.
As said we shall see what happens.
Still seem unfair that the whole thread got deleted as a result of that though. But hey ho so be it.
I don't think anyone has said its all hunky dory and the company still has a lot of work to do to take this forward, but in my view Graham has put his own tone on the company and surely that is a good thing and does symbolise a change from previous statement prior. Instead of getting on the companies back every 10 seconds let them get on with the job in hand they know what they need to do and that is show tangible progress on all aspects and as long as they show this progress then we can look forward to a better future.
We shall see what happens won't we.
Cobra,
We either back our company or we don't, or more to the point we either back our investment or we don't. There has been lots wrong with the company over the past couple of years since I started investing here and that goes to the top of the food chain and as shareholders we more than made our feeling known prior to the AGM.
For me the chairmans statement of the 28th March now symbolises to me anyway that Graham is in charge, the tone of that statement is in complete contrast to previous ones and put an air of realism to it. I personally like Graham approach to things.
Most in here now are sat on big paperlosses as a result of what has happened, but if you read everything in isolation from the AGM onwards then big steps have been made towards the overall aim of getting a deal across the line and especially the GTW, so from a fundmentals point of view nothing has changed, and they have shown progress in this side more than they have in previous statements they have made.
Other investors need to come to there own conclusions but I personally think we need to move forward that is all.
Thanks LT much appreciated,
It is good to see you are fully behind Graham and the team. I too was impressed at the AGM with Graham take on things and a very good addition to the team and a big step forward for NUOG as a whole.
You maybe right re the recent placing I suppose we will not get to know the actual reasons behind it and unfortunately we can't change the past.
I still believe this will come good and have been pleased with what we have seen so far from a GTW perspective but lots more I am sure to be released when further progress has been made especially on the SPV which to me is the next crucial stage, as that will then be a binding agreement in place.
As said yesterday I will post more frequently than I have done in the past 6 weeks or so but I am going to reduce the amount that I previously did on here.
I was just annoyed this morning when I came to check on any post mine of yesterday had been removed. I don't post for the fun of it only when I have something to say,
Good to hear from you and I look forward in meeting up next year AGM and we are all a little bit happier and richer than we current are.
Cheers
That is the thing none of the post contained anything derogatory in them they were all postive post symbolising the support of the company.
When your 2 biggest pi of the company can't come out and put a positive message on here backed up by other LTH agreeing with there stance then it kind of defeats the object for these BB as it just plays into the negativity and plays into a certain natrative that is assumed being played out.
Nothing we can do about it now but just annoying that is all.
I have no idea Eddie.
I suppose it doesn't go with whoever narrative or agenda others have.
It's going to be interesting watching that is for sure. But this BB needs to be balanced and start getting back to the company rather than tit for tat exchanges.
I am sure this BB is currently set up to put the fear of God into people and create so much uncertainty of what next for the shareholders and the company alike. But I think you will find the majority support the company and what it is trying to achieve and if they do achieve it then we are all going to be happy. So long gone are the days of mintys timescales and Graham's more pragmatic approach should hold a brighter future for all of us.
Cheers
i suppose we shall see in the next hour if the post stays or not.
And we are blue that won't go down well with the negative corner.lol I wasn't going to post today but felt no reason why my post should have been removed.
Anyway have a good day everyone
How strange my post from yesterday morning have been removed.
As far as I am aware nothing in that post offended anyone, just saying LTH need to start support Graham and the team and re set expectations.
Unless I am totally going blind then also LT and LY post of support for the company have gone missing funny that major shareholders supporting there own investment I think Someone doesn't want to see that narrative that major shareholders Supoort the company , yes very much frustrated but we had our say at the AGM, and that is it
Company now need to show progress on the multiple fronts they know what they need to do it's as simple as that.
Imo we have seen good progression on GTW more so than anything else in recent times so prehaps the company are listening and showing us exactly where we are at. I see SPV as the next piece of news been fully formalised then that will hopefully bring about the HOTS.
anyway was just checking in then saw my post had been removed, if I really can't have that opinion on this BB and support my own investment then it's a poor do.
It appears some do and some don't.
I had a brief glance over on the other board earlier today for the first time in a while and it appears it's the same old same old over there, what makes me laugh is none of them are invested yet spend the majority of their life on a BB and a share one at that, I mean what kind of sad sack would do that.
I have invested in quite a few companies that I have made money on and also companies that I have lost money on that I am no longer invested in, just move on what is the point in wasting your life.
Yes we all know NUOG need to improve on several fronts and more importantly get this deal over the line. But most just don't understand the mechanics of MF, so when they are in a position to announce something tangible the sp potential is many multiples of where it is now. It has been stated several times that we will not get a lots of updates due to NDA's in place so when a deal is announced it will be out of the blue. This is what most are invested in.
Is it frustrating of course it is no one is saying otherwise but IMO patience will be rewarded as we look to build a portfolio of projects.
Have a good rest of the day.
Yes both are still very much in lyates added more in the last few weeks since the AGM.
Lastthrow has been on holiday, not sure if he is back yet but I'm sure he will comment on here soon enough.
People do have a life outside this BB you know.
Brilliant piece of research Sharelock.
When Ivo was announced you can see the synergy of that appointment to the project we are going for over in Brazil.
I would also imagine with his little black book of contacts together with Akers increasing presence in Brazil will also present some further exciting opportunities for us as well.
It does seem things are slowly falling into place for us, I look forward to seeing what the next RNS brings us.
You need a better watch then, or learn to tell the time.
Enjoy your evening I'm off out.
Certainly will enjoy next week, I have 3 big fees incoming next week.
Good post seadog, looking forward to the next few weeks here.
I see BT is doing his best hitler impression
“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”
Unlucky my whiskey loving friend you might just want to try some water instead, or stay off the lemons it's made you rather bitter.
yet another Saturday wasted for your ramblings
you carry on if you so wish if it makes you feel better about your losses and yourself, you must be so proud.
There is going to be lots of happy investors soon, which is just going to add a bit of salt to your growing wounds.
All the best I would check your blood pressure also.
Alert,
There was a post the other day that mentioned potential fields which resembled. 2 boats. That were targeted to be decomm. Due to I think conco shutting down their terminal.
I did a bit of research on these couldn't find upto date figs but 4 yrs ago it was estimated 3000-4000 boep.
What a great post, and great research, exactly what these BB are designed for. Has this been sent to the company for comment as I would be very interested in hearing what they have to say about this structure of the deal.
Have a good day.
Welcolme back to the minions LT.
doing research I too came across those 2 little boats which would probably mean more collaborative agreements with another billion pound company.
Some interesting and exciting times ahead for us I hope.
