Possibly what's been pushing POO higher. US oil stocks continue to fall !
Summer driving season coming, holidays,flying . Looks like we could see a new yearly high in the coming weeks.

Some selling and taking profits.
However there are new buyers for that stock - a very good sign !
romaron is right, build it and they will come !
I think the algo's are saving 30p+ for tomorrow ! lol

We already know 2021 fcf at 400m , it's the info on 2022 production , debt , future that could/may set this alight !

I could not sleep. Kept dreaming of Spindock's boat. Northern Monkey was sailing it to Kraken to pick up some oil. Crazy dreams.
However on a serious note , I have a SP forecast of 33p at market close on Thursday following RNS release. Anyone else have a thought on SP at 4.30pm close tomorrow ?.
The prize for the closest is a luxury day trip on Spindock's boat to the Isle of dogs. Yes, to our Sweedish friends, the Isle of dogs really does exist !

Still looking for big +20% on Thursday.

If they can just "word it" right. 50k bpd production expected for 2022 to-date. Average POO for 2022 mid 90's . The revenue is huge, as is the FCF. Positive words about bonds, divi's, and the future and we are "off and running".
Please ,Dear Lord they did NOT hedge a lot more production in late February in the 90's. That would Cap our upside !
NO , they had 45% hedged at average of $78, they would not have jumped and hedged more so soon !

Sorry that last post of yours is a bit confusing .
Are you saying that You "Swing " both ways ?

In addition you could use a "trailing stop" which would follow the SP up, but sell if it fell by a certain level set by you !

If I had your concerns, which I don't , then I would operate a different strategy.
Rather than sell now/before the update. My solution would be to leave myself exposed to the potential upside of the RNS, but set a stop loss to protect the downside risk. Obviously only setting for the amount of shares you were thinking of selling.
Hope that gives you another option Jeffrey, but hey you have to deciede because it's your money.

Looks to me like we are just moving with the tide (POO) .
Providing we get good solid information on 2022 with Thursdays results , I still see a nice "pop" to the upside.
My forecast still at +20%. Yep 30p to break on Thursday is my call. DYOR though.

Thank you - I have tried to explain it (my thinking behind it ).
Without my explanation I would just be accused of ramping. Which in reality no one can do as we have no real influence on the Share Price !
Actually I wish I could influence the share price. If I could we would be at £2.50 by now ! lol

at trying to cross and hold above the 27.6p level .
2 attemps to get above and reach 28p and above.
I forecast that it will be 3rd time lucky ! Yes I see the next climb up to this 27.6p level we will see it breached and 28p+ hit.

Oh I forgot the big one !
HBR are valued at a 3.7b, yes 3.7 billion market cap -
That's 7x our MC, only 4x production and FCF of nearly the same 1.5 times.

We gotta "pop" big time to the upside soon, surely ?
I'm expecting next week 24/3 - RNS to be our biggest repairer spike ever !
For fun I am going to forecast what the SP will do on the day - (reaction to results and 2022 outlook) - I'm going for a crazy but realistic + 22% rise on the day !

When I read Harbour Energy results today, it just goes to show how Good we are doing.
HBR have more than 4x our production . However turning that into cash they only have FCF of around 50% more and not 4x more fcf. (400 vs 600 fcf)
I firmly believe that it shows how well we are doing on cost controls in the business.

I think when we get divi's they will spend 40m - 100m on them . Which equates to 2p to 5p

My thought - They have to report by RNS any material differences/big issues. The fact that they have not means that there are none ! We have already been told about 2021. FCF was a very good $400m see last RNS update.
We have Golden Eagle now for the whole of 2022. Production in January was confirmed at nearly 51k bpd. We should be easy confirming 50+ k bpd for Feb and March. Maybe more if Malaysia has been fixed. We know the oil price has been great ! Basically at these levels of production circa 40% has been hedged at $78 ceiling with the remainder on "free float" for Feb and March. Super high levels of FCF around $60m month.
In addition bonds refinanced ? dividends plan ? EP plan ? - All good stuff !
