Just looked, your right . Cairn are just 20% away from pre-virus prices. That would put us in the 20's I guess.
Also just checked "short tracker" , we are NOT showing any "shorts" on out stock.
The only thing I can think of is the low hedging prices we fixed in at, when the Pandemic began !
This should blow over with time ! I know KO, after 4 years, how much more time do we give ! Personally I am sitting tight until the new year ( January ) and will review the situation then.

Thanks for the link. I think most people must agree that at some point the POO will go to $100+ again. It's just WHEN ?
1 year, 2,3 ,5 or 10 years time.
As sure as eggs are eggs, and Ammu is a silly young fool ! It will happen !
The question is can we hold out waiting long enough for the magically day ?

When you get "caught short", us oldies need to save as much time as possible - either "on the draw"or to "get seated".

Spindok 's beach is next door to the Sizewell "B" power station in Suffolk.
I hope that explains why his posting is sometimes a little "radioactive". I went up to see him once , but left very sharpish when it got dark ! He and Mrs Spin were glowing in the dark ! I think it's because they spend all day circling around Sizewell "B" in a sailing boat.

Back When POO went $ negative ( the time TWalbyoff was talking about) companies like us, PMO, TLW etc were smashed down due to the fact that the market could see these smaller companies going out of business. So our SP was trashed down to 7p.
BP, Shell ( the big boys) were never going to go bust so they did not suffer as bad as we did .
NOW Today the market can see that we are not likely to go bust anytime soon so the fall back to 7p is NOT realistic. As for the big boys BP, Shell etc the market has let them slip down near the lows ( still 15% off the low in RDS's case) due to effect on their P&L and Balance Sheets. With regard to Covid19 I am expecting to hear a confirmed breakthrough on the immunization front by the end of the summer.
Although mass immunization would come some time after this. A confirmed cure would "push" the markets along nicely.
Past events have not gone our way in helping to boost oil prices. Eventually the tide must turn for POO !
I still see demand being greater than supply in 2021. The question for me is how big will the gap be ?

my thoughts why markets are worried;
1) Economies of the world firing on 2-3 cylinders , and not 4.
2) Countries racking up huge debts due to covid19. This will have to be paid for eventually.
3) Covid19 is Still with us, Indeed the number of worldwide infections is at record highs and keeps going up. The hot spots just move on to a different place like Brazil, who's next ? With all this "unlocking " going on , it must only increase infections as more people mix again. The Big Big question is (which worries the markets) How high will the second peak be ? Not if we will have one !

With the way the world is, will we ever get back to 30p, Let alone 60p.
Someone please help me out here !

Tempted to sell up everything and leave the wife. Go run away and live with Spindok. Go sailing everyday and just have fun. But who would cook ?

Good post , however I can see you don't seem to understand What's going on here !
Let me explain it , for you.
The government have been for a while now, acting as "Big Brother". They are looking after and protecting us.
They won't let you holiday in Scotland because they know you will have a rubbish holiday. You will get rained on continuously and possibly have to drink a lot of Whisky to keep warm. In Spain however you will have a wonderful time with the topless eye candy on the beach. Indeed you could even hire a sailing boat and go out to sea to get a full frontal view.
As for not sitting next to your wife in a bar. You both have to sit at opposite ends. Fantastic news because you can relax and have some peace. And it's not your fault ! Just hope the barperson is female, gorgeous and virus free !

I am OK with this, as it is called consolidation.
If E121 and others (Like myself) are right, we should see POO move up to $50 early in Qtr3.
That should then move us up to the 20p level in a few weeks time.

You didn't waste 4 years because you communicated and made friends on the Enquest board.
In fact this friendship is so strong that even when you are no longer invested , you just can't leave us and ride off into the sunset ! That's OK heardy, we love you too !
I think your initial "call" on Enquest's potential for growth was right. Like me though , the timing was wrong. But who could have foreseen all the world's problems that have held US back.
