My view is that AB is certainly "fishing". He is clever enough to let any interested parties know that their deal is not the only one he is looking at !
1st pick/guess BP - We have history with BP, my money is on "musical chairs" with PMO - on a BP deal.
2nd pick/guess Exxon North Sea - Although I fear Exxon will want some cash upfront here.
3rd pick/guess Exxon Malaysia - Weaker Assets, but could produce a surprise if a deal structured on revenue could be agreed, without the big cash payment.

BP is favourite for me, give them 4 weeks to arrange then they can call me and let me know !

Yes I could, produce streams of production forecasts as you say !
However It is much more simple than that !
Simply it's down to POO and it's price cycle !
I am sure we can all do a pretty accurate forecast of production with current assets. POO is the massive variable that can either make a few million FCF or could make a billion or more in FCF. Depending on it's price. I believe the POO will move into a "super cycle" in the coming year or two and $80- $100 will be seen again. For a 60p share price londoner7 , we need the market to value us at 1Billion. ( with the current no. shares) This is achievable in the future with POO playing it's KEY part.

I agree and understand both your posts.
Just feel the board need to remember shareholder value for those who have been loyal for many many years. This means getting the SP back up to 60p and having a party.

I have seen shareholder value drop from over 40p a share to the current 11p in circa 5 years.
So your investment 5 years ago is worth only 25% of your original investment. Not very good is it !
I believe the board should focus on restoring the share price back to 40p by prudent financial planning and paying debt back, rather than going on a EGO trip which we can't afford !
