KO I picked up 5p the other day !
Look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves !

My favourite stock on my "watchlist" has fallen.
I know gold is out of favour at present , but this seems a very low MC.
Is there unrest in Mali ?
Sadly I think Gold will take until 2022 before we see a recovery in POG.
But it will happen.

I do not think the issue here is "shorts" or people shorting this stock. Indeed you would have to be very brave (or stupid) to short TLW at these low share prices.
Being serious and trying to be informative on this board - I believe the issue and thus reason why the share price is where it is, and not rising is purely down to the fact that TLW has high debt - and the fact that this has hardly come down , even during a period of high Oil Prices.
A smaller issue is the high level of interest that TLW is paying on this debt too ! Around 10% from memory ! This is high and shows what risk the lenders have apllied to the business in giving a 10% figure.
Hopefully both of these issues will be addressed during 2022 and the share price may return to it's "happy highs".

Kraken is ENQ 's biggest producing asset at 30k bpd. More than half of total company production. Kraken is not an old NS asset and does not fit your description. You need to quote correct facts.

We can, to a point , cherry pick actual numbers to support an argument.
My view on Tullow is - good production numbers with a nice set of oil reserves. cost of servicing debt is high. They should squeeze down costs a bit more. With POO at these levels they will do well in the coming months ! With POO going higher then you should get great returns here, just not as high as Enquest. Lol

I have taken factual numbers from both company's half year reports and asked fair questions, unlike trolls do.
However some of you will act like trolls and throw insults at me and avoid answering my questions !
I can only assume that most here don't know the answers.
How can a company producing over 20% less oil make more than 50% more FCF ?
Enquest is making more cash than Tullow, how come ?
Answer my questions and I will go !

Tullow - production of 61k bpd, after costs etc gives a free cash flow of 86 million.
Enquest - production of 46k bpd, after costs etc gives a higher free cash flow of 141 million.

What are Tullow doing wrong ?
How can a smaller company , producing more than 20% less than Tullow, Make more than 50% More FCF and profit ????
Who has the better cost control ? Which company is better run ? Do the numbers yourself . ENQ will fly in 2022 IMHO.

I confess to annoying a few silly posters ,who can't read and understand the basics, of a company's results.
They were posting TLW debt down from 3b to 2,3b. All in H1 2021. 700m reduction in actual debt, yet FCF was less than 100m. Some do not like to be pulled up on errors.

Anyway, POO could be looking for that $80 now. I think we said during the summer that the delta varient just delayed the $80 POO for a couple of months. Seems to be looking that way. Same could be said about our 30p SP.

Looks like it's going to test the yearly high, which is $77.80, in the coming days/weeks.
Maybe we will get a good day when the GE deal is confirmed completed !
