It hasn't been 6 months yet ... so basically they haven't received them, and you can't know for a fact that they will receive them from 6 months of ordering tests...

After my original doubts yesterday, I purchased a couple thousand, and am sitting around 25% up still.

However, I have now sold half, and split my risks for this kind of research between Avacta, and Omega Dia who had an RNS today.

Think i missed the NCYT and SNG rises, but one of these 2 are likely to do well.

I still have my doubts, as I have seen a lot of these type of RNS's previously, which read well but have no firm substance.

It's good to see positive discussion rather though.

I'm going to dip my toe's in but only for a few hundred.

Be prepared for it to be 20p again soon.. :)

Yes previously i have attempted to trade in some oil exploration companies, and over time they have not done so well, some of these where short term holdings and made a little before the fall, some i didn't time as well.
A lot of this was a few years ago, and times have changed, and this has nothing to do with that.

All I am pointing out is that, this RNS has no substance.
There is no actual product that has been developed yet.
There are no orders, pre-orders, discussions on sales at all (as there is no product yet).

I am not in here, and have not decided whether I will or not (although going by my history if i buy, i would advise you sell as it will go down.)

Yes it is possible Avacta develop a product, and are in a great position to get into te market early, and make a lot of money.
However, they could end up being the hundredth company to develop, and miss out entirely.

When an RNS is released stating that a product is in testing, before other competitors, that is important.

This RNS is speculation on whether they can develop something at all, that can do what is in the scope.

I am not disagreeing that CV will be with us for a longer period of time than anyone wants it to be.

What I am wondering is whether Avacta have the capacity to be the first to develop the tests which are needed, or whether that in the competitive market for this they will be beaten by a larger, more experienced company that can put more resources onto development and carry out the correct level of testing quicker.

I just see this as a potential, which has no substance of anything that will actually be able to generate revenue, until Avacta have made developments and have a patent in place for the intellectual property.

Am I the only one, that reads this and feels this is too little too late..

From what i see they need to develop a test that works, and are aiming for End of May, before being able to mass produce it...

This is currently a highly competitive area, with multiple companies trying to ensure they can be the first / biggest supplier of this type of test, and whom have already started the developments.

I just don't see this actually coming to fruition.

Looks like this rise should have been much stronger 50-100% maybe,

But I decided to buy in at 2.3p so after that its just been going back down, as per usual whenever i buy in to something that should keep on going...

Ok, so there is lack of current news, but everything in the last 6 months has been positive.

Newmont on board, Agreement reached with debtors. Anza primed ready for some more drilling and firming up of resources.

But now sitting down 50% from my buy in... need a good bit of news soon to see this back up to 6p, 7p, 10p even.

GGP is already at £80m Mcap, and it is debatable whether they should be.
They have the heard and the momentum currently.

OMI has a significant amount of potential.

To restate a few facts:

Newmont have been with OMI for nearly 5 months now, and are funding the Anza project to drilling.

We have under 160m shares, which includes the Newmont ones and the Loyser agreement ones.

The Mcap here is incredible low for the potential.

As soon as this is widely known, and the herd move in here, we will be at 10p in no time, and 20p is not unrealistic. even higher could be reached with ease when drilling starts, just need some good publicity.

Is it me, or do they seem to be widening the spread artificially just by dropping the Bid?

It seems the Ask is going up, and the Bid is being brought down, just to keep the "Share Price" at the same value.

To me this looks like manipulation as they are trying to fill large orders...

Very excited to see what happens when this is let go.

So looks like they have finally let the spread close up from 15.38% down to under 2%.

just by bringing the Bid up from 5.2 to 5.9, although the ask hasn't changed much.

Hope this now starts to move up to reflect more of a fair value market cap.

Is it just me or is this beginning to feel like a spring that's being wound tighter and tighter and tighter.

And then when a couple of big buyers show up and take a piece of the action at the share price which is being held nice and low for them this will be let go....

We need more publicity so the wider market is aware of what there is here and we get some big buyers in.

I'm hoping that the reason the share price is being held this low after the RNS is that the MM's have a big order they are trying to fill for a serious investor before they let this start rising....

Was disappointing to have the RNS at 4pm and not a 7 am one that's talked about before open.

Shame its such a late RNS, most people will miss it today...

Hope that tomorrow morning we see some good momentum on this.

yeah, there does seem to be some area's with nice high quantities.

Also note that out of 18 Drills they have shown good figures for 13 on the report (assuming each MAP_XY is a different drill.

This shows that across the whole area there is consistency with how much is in the ground that should be profitable when mining it.
