All my shares except 1 are down - I believe due to the FED advising that a US recovery likely to take much longer than expected. The mark downs seem indiscriminate. Ive just topped up a small amount here, as until the last few days ago had 514 as a resistance/support level. We will see if a good move or whether this will fall further. Either way I think BUR should be counter cyclical and with a US listing or full UK listing imminent and record deployments coming to fruition are sure it will be prudent in the longer term.

On the same line of thought it looks a good day to buy RBGP as currently down to 72p. Was tipped by IC only a few days ago and the Naked Trader a couple of weeks ago.

looks like maybe 540? hit both yesterday and today. I shall buy it we get a rise off 540 again tomorrow anyway. I'm not a trader and efforts to trade to a larger holder has yielded a negative return so far so best to make your own decisions.

We've now had 4 hugely positive days for the SP. History suggests a large retrace on Monday, hopefully to only test the 500p mark. Can we break from the shackles? Will be interesting to see come Monday.

If you want a proven commercial CEO running a legal practice (the only one in fact) that currently has the ability to finance their own cases, but is also in the process of setting up a litigation finance arm to fund the cases of others, try RBGP. I'm a holder so maybe biased but think they are also well placed to make the most from the current situation. Their law firm's specialities (amongst others) are Dispute Resolution, Insolvency and Financial restructuring and debt recovery.

I know only too well what you mean. I have a limit order set at what i believe is recent historic support, as do believe in the company, but cant explain price movements for last couple of months never mind last few weeks. I'm hoping we clear 5 this week and that then becomes the new support.

I have just read that Australia intends to regulate the Industry.

The Federal Government has announced today that it will require litigation funders operating in Australia to hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and to conduct class actions as a managed investment scheme. Burford's AFSL don't like the idea for obvious reasons. Likely to put downward pressure on SP IMO so i've put in a cheeky limit order.

I see Shorttracker shows different info to the Short positions tab on here. According to Shorttracker it would seem Gladstone reduced their short by 0.1% c. 13th May. The downward trend now seems to have been broken so should only be a matter of time when they have to re-purchase the remaining 1.45% of all shares allotted they are short. I'm looking forward to the nice resulting increase in the SP

ps. Its The Times that has supported Burford not the Financial Times. The Financial Times has been very anti Burford to date, to such a degree that it wouldn't surprise me if they were on MW's payroll.

I guess we will see in the morning if there is an RNS, but my guess is that the Director buys, if there are to be more, will be spaced equally, so each week. As for the price going up when there are more sells it seems to happen often. Conversely, SCPA has shown to have more buys than sells for the last few days yet the SP has gone down.
