RE: Regulars25 Sep 2020 20:57
LIT's results were supposedly impacted by court delays and were received poorly, with a fall in SP despite a buy recommendation from ST in the IC. I don't know LIT as well as I do BUR, but BUR ramped up deployments 3 tears ago and those, one would hope, should now be bearing fruit. If it hasn't hit the balance sheet already, it should very soon.
BUR still looks very cheap, even against LIT that received the tip. I'm not so sure that the US listing is in the price as the US have not as yet been able to buy via their own exchange, nor to my knowledge, has it been marketed to US investors.
I see that short tracker details disclosed shorts of 1.75%. These will need to be bought back and if I were the II's I would do so before the shares became available on the NYSE as I can only see demand rising.
But that may be my problem as had I sold a tranche each time we hit £6 and bought back a couple of days later I'd have a much larger holding. As a long term hold I cant see a better opportunity.
