And I'm out! Not waiting around for an indeterminate amount of time just to be shafted when the vote comes in yes. There are better places to put ones money imo.
Sorry all, I no longer have any faith in this company of its management, they are snakes.
Agree, David. If it was as easy as following supposedly smart money, everyone would be rich.
They make mistakes too. Often much bigger and more expensive.
If they've not resumed mining because of fuel issues, this share price will be 5p again
Net debt still positive. Read the RNS lol
Rich people lose money too. I recall the commodity rout of 2011-2015 in which a lot of supposedly smart money kept catching knives as the entire sector fell lower.
It's completely reckless to assume that institutional investors can't also make huge errors of judgment. Dan Betts is a good salesman, he probably told them a good story.
I'll believe things are good when the results suggest they've turned a corner. Until then this is pie in the sky, jam tomorrow. Every time they're fully funded they find a way to come back and borrow another $30m
Lol. The point is, if someone is accumulating and he abstains, the 18% YES votes become bigger
Fair enough. Typically what happens is the trade goes against you and you become a long term holder. I'm glad I sold out for a small loss, but wish holders here good luck.
On the plus side, the hedge at 2000+ isn't looking quite as bad anymore
Lol. They've already got 18% in the bag, don't they? So if a small % of people don't vote, they've got 25%
I think lots of PIs won't vote, and everyone selling at the moment will be selling to an institution that'll vote yes
Not sure anyone has any faith in those regulations protecting small PIs though... What would stop people from accumulating shares and simply abstaining from the vote, which increases the likelihood of the yes votes being 75%?
This is AIM, its as lawless as crypto imo
Please don't wish for a takeover - go have a look at what's happening at shanta... absolute disaster, shareholders getting fleeced.
AIM will eventually die because of such shenanigans, I'd guess ppl with a lust for high risk will just flock towards crypto
